Both Schweinsteiger and Podolski are being rested for this game.

I still think this is a pretty good team. I'm happy to see Neuville there, instead of Brdaric.

Poldi & Schweini aren't fit at all! It'd bring nothing to let them play.

Hmm I thought Neuville played not bad against Bayern. But Hitz as LB again, won't be that good. Why isn't Klinsi calling Jansen?

Oh well, I don't take this game serious, b/c all player aren't 100% fit yet.

I am sure Hanke is not feeling to good about not being included. the 2 match suspension for the most part have screwed his WC chances. I like some of the defenseive changes Klinsi has made. Hopefully we will see Lauth in there in a couple of months.

I prefer Jansen (the Gladbach left back with the tall body and beautiful face one, not the Dortmund one) over all of them. YIHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!

Didn't Klinsmann say that he would try to get the 2 match suspension for Hanke lifted?? Any update on that?

What's the status with our #1 defender --- Metzelder??

I see that Schweini didn't play for Bayern last weekend, maybe injured. And I hope Podolski is really being rested, and has not been ommitted on merit.

Nice to see Hamann back in the squad.

Agree with Hamann, not Neuville, especially with talent like Lauth, Hanke Podolski, Auer around. Kuranyi and Klose are the others in contention too.

I feel Klinsmann will take 4 strikers.

Metzelder said in an interview today that he stays in contact with Klinsi. They called him and said that he doesn't have to worry, he'll get his chance this year.

But at the moment he must find his old form and he should try to play a season without getting injured.

Is he fit now? Did he play over the weekend?

Three europeans are captured in Saudi Arabia due to drinking alcohol, which is strictly forbidden. The three europeans, one swiss, one german and one dutch are led before the King Of Arabia. The King says to the swiss: "You have commited a terrible crime you will have to suffer for what you did. But you have one wish for free before you will suffer the bullwhip. So speak, what is it you want?" The Swiss sais: "I want a pillow strapped on my back". THe King sais: "So be it". The pillow is strapped on his back. The penalty is executed. 30 bullwhips. After 5 whips the pillow is burst and the Swiss sufferes terrible pain with the remaining blows...

Now the Dutch has a wish for free... tho dutch might smell they are not dumb. He wishes that 2 pillows are strapped on his back for protection. But during the exectution of his penalty the pillows burst after 10 bullwhips thus making the dutch suffer heavily.

Next is the german up to suffering. The King ask him: "Well german I like your country you have won the world cup and you are fine people. What is your wish my friend." He replies "Strap the dutch on my back".

No, I didnt just make it up. But this joke was always a big laugh when I told it. Even when I told it to a bunch of poles (my best friend is polish) during a christmas party. That shows me: laughing about dutch is universal
