As many may have heard, the Etna woke up again, and many people are losing their homes cos of this. Just found this satellite pic which is quite an interesting pic.

In case you`re wondering, that small island to the south of Sicily is Malta As you can see, cos of the wind, the Etna`s dust came all over us and our cars and streets were covered with this lava dust.

you cant blame them for colonising it, because the deposits make the spoil more fertile, which in the past was the paramount thing in life. if you notice any major volcano in the world is colonised, if its not in remote regions (ie Mt.St helens)
