AFC win SPL's best programme of the year

I'm liking the look of that league table.

If only the SPL would finish like that.

================================================== ==

AFC "Red Matchday" wins again

Aberdeen fought off a determined challenge from Dunfermline to claim their fourth consecutive SPL title. Yes, the Dons Red Matchday magazine is once again top of the SPL as they once again won the 'SPL Programme of the Year' award. Hearts retained third spot to keep the same top three as last season with Inverness Caledonian Thistle claiming fourth place in their first season in the top flight.

The full placings were as follows:
Aberdeen
Dunfermline
Hearts
ICT
Dundee Utd
Kilmarnock
Rangers
Dundee
Hibs
Celtic
Livingston
Motherwell

The Red Matchday Programme is compiled by members of the AFC marketing team led by Malcolm Panton and club historian Kevin Stirling and it is designed and published by Cre8. Everyone at Redweb would like to offer congratulations to all involved for a fantastic achievement.
Red Matchday has 64 pages packed with features, in-depth interviews with players, feature lead articles on current and ex-players, managers and characters associated with Aberdeen Football Club.

Columnists include skipper Russell Anderson and the BBC's life-long Dons fan Richard Gordon. The magazine is the only place to read Russell Anderson's pre match thoughts ahead of every home game.

I've probably got some really old ones somewhere, long before your time.
Before the match programme was called "The Dons", it was "The Don". I hope I didn't chuck them out, but god knows where they are now.

It is a fact that Richard Gordon took a break from the dons during his student life in Edinburgh, when he followed the Hibees, in patricular some bloke called Joe Harper (any one heard of this guy before ) Insanity returned, however, when he returned to Aberdeen.
