watched bits of the game, although they were much better than zap, only just scraped a 1-0 at home :eek

Went down to watch it, wish i hadn`t as they were awful. I`ve said it before and i`ll say it again,`Ian Harte needs selling`. He is totally useless at corners and his free kicks are now just as bad. At least Mcphail can put the ball in the box but the passing was woeful and all the attempts at goal seemed to be headers. Second half was better but they sat deep and allowed our aimless forwards to miss at their will. Nice to see Bridges back though as we need another outlet badly.


Robinson 7/10 - Nowt to do really exept punt the ball up field
Kelly 7/10 - Good runs on right but not match fit
Radebe 8/10 Solid at back but Zap never looked like scoring
Woody 7/10 - Quiet game but nearly scored
Harte 4/10 - NO COMMENT
Bowyer 6/10 - Tried but was let down by first touch
Bakke 4/10 - Nightmare game, missed countless headers in box
Dacourt 6/10 - Didn`t seem with it to me
Kewell 8/10 - Tried hard but too much at times
Viduka 7/10 - Totally man marked, unable to hold ball up well
Smithy 8/10 - Never give up, never surrnder, but wasn`t enough

Mcphail 7/10 - Good game but struggled against 11 defenders
Bridges 8/10 - Tentertive start but showed glimpses of whats to come

Tactics are ok but if the basic`s like control and passing aren`t there then they`re getting paid too much. :mad

We played poorly in the 1st half and not much better in the 2nd, if we'd have took our chances we could have 4 or 5 but they came to defend and did it well.

This is no excuse but for a small team they were very organised and played well, if they had a strike force they could be very good.
