Have you ever been injured supporting your club ?

Obviously getting caught in the crossfire of a punch up after the game is probably the first thing you'll think of when you see this question but it's not confined to or really about that, could be a laugh seeing how some fans hurt themselves while at the game.

I knackered my left leg earlier today when the 2nd goal went in against the Villa when the guy standing next did to me what can only be really described as a rugby tackle!, probably lucky it was only that the way everyone was jumping up and down.

When we beat Arsenal last season at Villa Park I was bouncing on my seat at the end of the game and my leg went through the back....I fell right through the chair, hurt like hell

And what tops it all off is that if you watch the end of that match again Sky caught it!! Nevermind, I was pissed and happy....quality

1980, Everton at home, News Years eve, or day, or day after....

Burnden Paddock full, my home! Couldn't get in. Walked around to Railway Embankment, slipped on the snow and ice on my arse and banged my elbow. Still get twinges.....

Snow all over pitch, we played in Red Shirts and with orange ball, George Wood crocked Peter Reid with a disgraceful challenge.

Match abandoned at half time....

Reidy was out for months.....

Haha I did that 2 seasons ago when Frandsen scored against Boro in our "must win to stay up match." Stopped when it got to my knee though and it slammed right on it. Swelled up like a mango.

When we scored our second at Southampton this season, I jumped up and was going mental. I smacked my knees on the seats and my knees were black and blue, with cuts all over. I couldn't walk properly - but it was worth it!

Yeah lol, and its a funny story.

Me and me mate Egg, were at leeds away when we won 4-0, and it was a sunday game. We both played for the same sunday team, Old Swan. I had broke my metatarsal about three weks before, so was out injured anyways, but egg who was incidentally the captain, told the manager that he had a family commmitment and couldnt play that weekend, so we could go the game.

Problem was, we ened up on the front row, RIGHT BEHIND THE GOAL, on telly every time the replays were on. So basically, when our manager got home that night he would see his supposedly recuperating at home injured central midfielder, ME, standing there at the game, with his supposedly at a family commitment, central defender and captain, EGG.

Anyway to make thinsg worse, when the fourth went in, we were going mad as usual when we score and then by accident, i surge forard in the moment and my broken foot goes down the back of the seat in front and twist round..........cue immense pain. Therefore i am the only person on telly, on the fornt row, in the Liverpool crowd, who is grimmacing whilst everyone else is going mental cos we scored again. It ****king killed it did and basically, although id never admit it to the manager, finished me off for the season for our team, cos everytime i tried to come back from injury, if someone tackled me on the foot, it would go again, and id be carried off...again. OOPPS.

Arsenal away 02/03 I think?

When Anelka scored the equaliser whole place was cahos, ended up in the aisle about 8 rows down from where I was stood, one of my mates had some bloke shake him by his jacket and smacked heads together by accident! Haha, it were so funny.
