The Dinamo Moscow chairman stated in the press-conference and the Dinamo Moscow presentation of the 7 newcommers that there will be another 2 portugese internationals in the squad in summer. He stated that it would be Maniche and Costinha. The price tags are supposedlly $18 and $15 mil euroes a total of $31 for the duo. He said that the clubs has agreed all the terms and the deal only need approvation from the two players.

yes and no. Yes b/c the chairman stated it officially in front of everybody including all the Dinamo Moscow players, Aswell rumours about Dinamo getting two players but didn't who it was. No b/c Maniche is worth way more than that and aswell don't see Porto selling him. Costinha almost gonna retire, so I don't see him moving anywhere.

Costinha is already going downhill, so it can happen, if they got Derlei they can get him too. But about Maniche its nothing but a ridiculous joke.

These Russian people are very dirty, you shouldnt believe in every b/s that comes from their mouths..

Costinha is a starter in the Portugeuse NT though... I don't understand why he'd want to give up his ambition yet. He's not in the THAT stage of his career like Joao Pinto is however Costinha is starting to dip I admit. It would be a mistake for Costinha to leave now but I'd understand if Pinto da Costa accepted 15m euros for him. If I was offered 15m for 30-year old Costinha I would accept as well. There isn't any other club that would offer more for such a player.

The Derlei deal was a bit of a shocker at first but it makes sense seeing that he's like 29 (going on 30 soon) and he's Brasilian (most of them don't care who the heck they are playing for... they just want the money).

15m for Costinha? Are these guys retarded? I guess it evens out for the 18 they're asking for Maniche. That is of course its not 15 for Maniche and 18 for Costinha

This can't be true. One would have to be on crack to pay 15m (or more) for a 30-year old midfielder. Then again Real Madrid paid 72m euros for Zidane (at 29) and Chelsea paid around £15m for Makeleke (at 30) so you never know. Costinha is way below these guy's level though.

If the Russians want a killer league with the kind of money they have there best bet is to buy South American prodigies.

I should probably boot up a Dinamo Moscow FM file (not sure if they have lots of money in the game as in real life though) and show these tycoons how its done.

Any average person could create a legion of filthy but talented mercernaries with the kind of money they have. Buying washed-up has beens like Derlei, Frechaut and Costinha (not that washed-up yet but close) as well as mediocre Portugeuse players is not the answer.

I don't believe it either. I went to Dinamo Moscow's website (they have an english version too) only to find that almost all the links aren't working. If they have an amateur run website, how can we expect their president's words to be credible?

There has been no word from Porto yet on this as well.

RTP is not more reliable then the papers. They also said that Maxi Lopez and Robinho already signed with Benfica..

Btw I state here officially, that if Porto sells Maniche to Dinamo Moscow, no matter for how much money, I will stop supporting Porto at least while this current direction is there. I love my club, but selling our best player to a club without any prestige just in order to get more dirty money (when we dont really need it) is the kind of stuff that I most hate in football and I cant support a club that does it.
