I was talking to Dennis Tuart today in work, he was joining some "corporates" going to the Villa game tonight. I said to him that I hoped Villa won and his reply "You reds are all the same!" I said anyway, have a nice time!! Nice fella

Well as I currently work in the Heartlands of Birmingham, I don't really expect to bump into many City, or United players, for that matter Anyway, me and Dennis had a laff.....

What steward doesn't watch the match? The whole point of becoming a steward is to get paid to watch the match, isn't it?

Nicolas Anelka has been denied his hat trick after a ruling by the FA Premier League on his first goal against Everton.

The FA Premier League Dubious Goals Panel has ruled that Manchester City's first goal against Everton in their Barclaycard Premiership clash in August will now be credited as a Tomasz Radzinski own goal.

The twenty three year old City hitman unleashed the strike from a free kick thirty yards out but though the ball took a deflection he claimed the goal, his first for the club since his summer signing.

He then went on to score the second and third with his final goal of the afternoon five minutes from time a tremendous strike from an acute angle. He was named Man of the Match and left Maine Road with the match ball.

But the three-man Dubious Goals Panel, made up of established figures in the game, gave it's verdict on the striker's free kick after being given a copy of a video containing the goal shot from every possible camera angle available.

thats a bit out of order, but its old news now, and most people will remember the game as the one where 'Anelka got a hatrick'!
