Alex Miller and Phil Thompson went to see these two play against Scotland on Wednesday. Rommedahl is decent but I like the look of Lovenkrands. Pacy, runs at players and gets crosses in. It's what we need. I wouldn't pay over the odds for him though.

If your on about the Lovenkrands that plays for Rangers (there are two of em in the SPL) he is a top player. Always gives 100% and got a sharp turn of pace too.
Would be surprised if Rangers let him go though.

Yeah Peter Lovenkrands who plays for Rangers. To be honest I haven't seen much of him but when I have seen him he's always impressed me. Very, very quick, likes to beat a man and has aneye for a goal. Scored a couple in the Scottish Cup final I seem to remember. It has been said we could get him for about £5 million as Rangers are in a bit of strife at the moment (got to sell before they buy type thing).

Dunno about the money situation for the 'Gers but I bet personally he would love the challenge to play against better teams week in week out.
Also Liverpool having a higher profile in Britain and Europe would be tempting for him.

Paisley said "it's what we need",I could'nt agree more and since the Duff deal to my great disappointment did'nt come off we have to look elsewhere.
Lovenkarnds came to my attention at the cup final last year but since i have'nt had the chance to see him since. He is young and from the other descriptions he has tricky feet and likes to have a shot. The team needs to create more plays from the wings so it I would'nt disagree if Houllier bought him.
