Deisler
Deisler
Quote:
"It's a long time since I made it through a complete season, I've been out of the shop window for nearly three years. I want to be playing every game and get into a rhythm, then the rest will follow automatically. I'm convinced it will happen,"
"I want to contribute more to this team. I want to become a key individual and a leader. That's why they bought me two years ago."
|
He is my favourite player, I hope this season he pulls it together and shows his true quality.
He has set the FIFA Confederations Cup as his return to international duty.
Deisler was one of the most talented players years ago but his career has taken cruel twists and turns, If he stays fit and puts his mental problems behind him he will become one of the worlds true stars.
Its a-shame what the last three years have held for Deisler, Who knows if Deisler had avoided his injurys and the stress that comes with them then he could already be the worlds best player, Ther is no doubt in my mind he was the most talented player of his generation.
But will it all come to late, He is 25 now and his entire early 20s have been spent in the position that destroys players morale, He is yet to reach the peak of a players career but will his stunted development hinder his chances of furfilling his early potential.
He should be eased back into the spotlight or he could suffer a relapse that would put him back at square one, I wounder that if he had a coach like Alex Fergusson in his early years he would have avoided his mental problems, But he would have still got the injurys, so i guess we will never know.
I really like him and Bayern but sometimes i think he would have been better off not joining Bayern as the media circus that is Hollywood Bayern has damaged his career, The mental part of it anyway.
What do you think will happen involving his future at Bayern and Germany?

That took you long enough to type.
The last I saw him playing well was in the last years champions league before he disapeared again, and he looked very good.
I think they should loan him out for the rest of this season were he can play at a lower level, but still an allright team(like Saint Mirren ) and get his confidence back ready for next season.

A little about the worlds best player.
Unfortunately, the stress is still on the 'promising' as the 24 year-old's career has been blighted by a series of setbacks which might have halted a lesser character is his tracks. The midfielder has had to battle career-threatening knee injuries, and lost half of 2003-4 to chronic depression. But the safe delivery of his first child opened a new perspective for the player, and he has completed an optimal pre-season programme for the first time ever. Bayern fans could be in for a rare treat as the spotlight falls on Deisler's undoubted talent in the future.

?????????????? you serious? hes no youngster. if he wont make it at Bayern very soon, we should get used to the idea that Deisler is a lost talent.

All he needs is a good run of injury free football and the talent that is Basti Fantasti will shine on the world stage.
For the past three years my fav player has warmed the psychiatrists couch so its about time he gets back on track and emerges as a fantastic player.

I would love to see Deisler become the player he could be. But now I am affraid Deisler dont has the strength to become a world class player. I hope that but since his relapse I think he wont be able to sustain great pressure. I dont hope on Deisler anymore to be a big help for german football.

Thats why I think he should go to a lower level team on loan for a while, I don't think he'll fulfill his potential at bayern right now, and once he's been on loan for a while and hopefully having played well, he can come back to bayern and play like he can and if he doesn't ask him to leave, unfortunatley.
Although I think the best thing would be to leave bayern, but I like bayer so I want him to stay.

In a few months time we will look back at your post and see if you were right.
He is too old to be loaned out, Its now or never for Deisler, If he fails too improve over the next year then he should move on to another club then maybe he can develop without constant pressure, Well i sppose where ever ho goes now the media frenzy will be sure to follow.

I think being loaned out to a team in a poorer division for the rest of the season could really help him, or playing for bayern amatures, his confidence is a big problem I think and if he can get it back in a poorer league he could go on to be very good for bayern, although I probally talk rubbish.

It would be the wrong signal for Deisler to spare him the pressure. You cant loan out a Deisler. Like Bomber said its now or never. If he wont have his comming out this year Bayern should sell him to another BL team where he can live his football days happily ever after.

I think if you throw him back in the 1st team now he'll be ****ed forever, I really think giving him the rest of the season else where to get his confidence back and then have him ready for the next season, for his " now or never year " and then if he hasn't made it then, pack his bags for paisley

I think its the other way around. Deisler will be lost if he will be loaned out. He just stated that he wants to get back to the National Team as fast as possible and that hes going to have a talk with Klinsmann. Loaning him out would break his soft heart.

I think Deisler has no chance of coming back this season, send him to Paisley for a few months that'll toughen him up.

What planet do you live on lad
It's the largest and craziest town in scotland and home to the mighty Buddies, Saint Mirren, who beat hamilton 3-0 today with stewart kean getting a double.
It also has a cathedral.

Deisler will return and he will be one of the best.
Deisler turned down a move to Bayern earlier in his career to move to Berlin because he thought he wasnt ready, I wounder if he had chosen to go for Bayern back then if everything could have been different, With the training and medical staff at Bayern he could have avoided all or most of his problems.
