Leeds United have announced that manager David O'Leary, Manager of Leeds United Football Club, has left the company.

"After four successful years the pressures of some of the off-field incidents have resulted in the Company deciding that it would be beneficial for a change of manager.

"It is hoped that an announcement regarding a successor can be announced in the next few weeks.

"Leeds United would like to place on record its thanks for David's enormous contribution over the last four years."

Official from the Leeds site. Not really surprised though, as I told you Jimlad my sources seem to be one up on you should have taken the bet I told you about bookis know better than taxi drivers

Thought you might like a laugh after all that has gone on today, the only ones missing are George Graham and Big Ron

Celtic boss Martin O'Neill, South Korean coach Guus Hiddink and Republic of Ireland chief Mick McCarthy could be top of Leeds United's wanted list to replace David O'Leary.

Apparantly Leeds already have a replacement lined up, to be named in a couple of weeks. I can see Rio going, being sold by Ridsdale for the cash.

The New manager can expect to see about one third of his squad go before he can do anything. Leeds want £50m back in the bank before the new season and a new manager is going to find it hard.

Firstly, Rio is going nowhere, the board want £15m back on the players, so Bowyer Harte n Kelly will cover that easily. O'niel, is the obvious and best choice but it could be hard to prize him away allthough his talents are wasted in scotland. Mcarthy would be gr8 yorkshire bloke takes no shit from rebelious players, may be just what we need, El tel no ta.

Naw you've lost it. Why do you think Fergie extended his deadline - cause he is waiting for Sven's contract to run out with England then he comes to OT

The board said they wanted £50m by next season's start not £15m

Hopefully the repalcement manager will do good things for Leeds. Bit of a shock that DOL was sacked wasn't expecting it. We should find out if Rio stays or goes tomorrow, after the MUFC press conference.
