The agent of Chilean striker Marcelo Salas has rubbished reports that have suggested his client is set for a return to Juventus.
Salas is currently on loan at Argentine giants River Plate but following injury to Juve hitman David Trezeguet, talk has been of a return.
Earlier in the week Salas' agent, Fernando Hidalgo, had indicated a return was a possibility for the prolific striker.
However, Hidalgo has now labelled such reports as being simply 'crazy' and called for an end to the rumours.
''There is no chance for Marcelo to leave River before June 30 2005,'' confirmed Hidalgo. ''That's the date his loan expires.
''I am fed up of having to deny all the time information that is published in Italy and then gets repeated in Argentina.
''It's crazy what has been said in the last hours. Marcelo is in a contract with River and he is going to reach the end of what he has signed.
''Marcelo and River don't have any intention for making him move away so that's the end of the story.''

So technically he is still Juve property or not? If he is, I dont know he can stay at River if they hold his rights, unless I am missing something? No, not a brain ha ha ha.
