Legia Warszawa

Brand new manager coming... Pitor Zygo has released Dariusz Kubicki stating that his style of coaching was "unsatisfactory". Kubicki had coached the club to second place, last season, and had been coaching the club through a spell of injuries, in which Zielinski, Choto, Jarzebowski, and Djokovic are all out.

--------------
stupid desicion on Zygo's part, the injuries are not the fault of Kubicki. He should have stayed longer, and Zygo should have given him a chance, or changed offensive coaches, to get the offense going. They've been losing steam since the 6-0 defeat of FC Tibilisi in the UEFA first round. Saganowski and Wlodarczyk, and Sokolowski (who should have been in against Lech) are all doing well though. Gawara has no clue what he was doing in Poznan, and Zielinski should know a bit more about the club's stars to help Gawara.

strange decision from Legia. There must have been some pressure. Kubicki had pretty impressive games won to lost balance. He lost very few games. Don`t know what kind of person he is but if results state managers ability he shouldn`t`ve been releasedd.

You're right. He was popular with the fans, so I guess Zygo has just turned into a dictator now.... at least I'm glad their are smart people in this world (referring to your reply) that see past what Zygo and Walter think, Kubicki was a good coach. Kind of makes you think, it's happened before, but no actions were taken because of the exit from UEFA cup.....

Legia lost their touch a bit with the 0-1 lose to Groclin. I think the championship plans should be scraped now...

and there is final decision. Czech coach - Chovanec- will not take over and will not be Legia coach. I wonder why?
Legia will chave 4 men who will lead them for the rest of this year.

the end of season Legia had much better than some time ago. Saganowski started to score thay have 2 or 3 young players who can become good ones. they need a proper coach and can finish on the second posiion as Groclin now have problems.

We WERE in a crisis, Chovanec decided to renew his contract with Sparta, Gawara has left, leaving the coaching to Zielinski and Brychczy (the way it SHOULD have been after Kubicki left). The moment Zielinski and Brychczy took over, we won 3 straight. Sagan has been doing very well, as Kristofvv said, he's back to creating chances like he used to. Rzerzniczak (born 6 days before I was!!!), Smolinski, and Korzym are doing well for young players, they are learning to work with the rest of the first team. Communication has improved and everyone has a sense of how the other one behaves on the pitch, the reason for the 3 straight wins. Oh yeah, the injured players are coming back now, Szala returned and that has been a big boost.
