I DONT THINK THIS RESULT IS SO BAD LOSING 1-4 TO A PREMIERSHIP THATS JUST SPENT MILLIONS ON PLAYERS AND US AT LEAST GETTING A LATE GOAL THROUGH WESTCARR BORO PUT A STRONG TEAM OUT INCLUDING THEIR NEW 3 SIGNINGS OF VIDUKA,HASSELBAINK AND PARLOUR.HASSELBAINK SCORED 2 TONITE QUEDRUE GOT ONE AND JOB SCORED THE 4TH.ALL IN ALL IT WAS A GOOD WORKOUT FOR BOTH TEAMS.AND YES HJELDE DID PLAY FOR FOREST TONITE SO LOOKS LIKE WE GOT HIM IN THE SQUAD MORGAN EVEN HAD A RUN OUT TO REALLY WOULD LOVE TO BEAT SPURS ON SATURDAY BUT AGAIN JUST GET THROUGH THIS MATCH INJURY FREE WILL DO THERE WAS A GOOD 12K THERE TONITE EVEN BORO BOUGHT 919 FANS.

They had a great team out that would beat any Championship side so I'm not going to lose much sleep on this one.

i wasn't to fust about he result and thought apart from defensive errors we did ok considering we had 3 or 4 starters missing. something that did concern me was the sloppy performance of gerrard in goal. he looked half the player he did last season. another thing does anyone know why evans didn't play? On the plus side kevin james was impressive, he showed great pace and an eye to get in the box aswell. Also commons showed some some skill when he came on and put a quality cross in for the goal. i might go to spurs on saturday to see how we fair against a lower rank premiership side rather than a top rank prem side and also to see more of the new signings. and finally it was a great suprise to me when hjede was announced as a sub and he should help ease our deffensive troubles.
