JAY JAY OKOCHA has issued a 'come and get me' plea to English clubs following his stunning display against the Republic of Ireland on Thursday.

It was Okocha who set up Julius Aghahowa for the opening goal in Nigeria's 2-1 win with a superbly disguised pass and he generally ran the game from the midfield, with his superb vision, although he was up against a clearly unfit Roy Keane.

Now the talented midfielder is looking to secure a move away from PSG and risks losing a £700,000 loyalty bonus if he moves from the French club before July, when his four-year contract ends.

Okocha's agent, Johnny Baez said: "No English clubs have yet to make an offer for Jay Jay but his dream has been to play in England ever since he was a little kid.

"He doesn't like German football so he doesn't want to go back there (Okocha played for Eintracht Frankfurt). There is no technique and it's cold football in Die Bundesliga.

"English football used to be like that but now it is better, with more creativity.

"Jay Jay would be the kind of player who could play anywhere for any team. He creates things which people had no idea existed. He can change a game in a moment with a flash of brilliance.

"He loves the system of English player and it doesn't matter which club wants him, the important thing is they make an offer.

"People think he will be really expensive but if they make an offer it can be negotiated.

"We had similar problems with Valencia and Espanyol over the financial aspects - they thought he was too expensive.

"We are going to wait around a week but there are Spanish clubs, namely Espanyol and Villarreal, who are interested and we will have to see what happens.

"Obviously if he has a good World Cup his price will go up, so it would be best to make an offer now."

Okocha is believed to be one of the highest earners in France, but with PSG looking to cut costs, he now wants to leave.

Spurs and Chelsea were recently linked to the star, who at the time said: "There's a very strong chance that I will be in London, at Tottenham or Chelsea.

"The most important thing is to find a club where me and my family will be happy."
Come on then good signing or not

Has looked good when I`ve seen him, not sure if we would go for him. Sounds like he might have his heart set on the bright lights. Maybe if we got him here when the moor was on!!

I've heard Bolton are in for him. Seems if these are the only clubs wanting him then he must have gone down hill since I last saw him play.
