Bayern Munich coach Ottmar Hitzfeld has confirmed he would consider moving for Borussia Dortmund ace Dede should French left back Bixente Lizarazu decide to leave this summer.
The German champions are keen to tie the experienced Frenchman to the club for at least another year, but the 34-year-old has not yet made up his mind if he will leave Munich and return home after seven years when his contract expires in July.

"I believe that next summer we have to sign two, three new players in order to increase competition," Hitzfeld told German daily Die Welt.

"If Lizarazu won't sign a new contract, Dede will be a highly interesting player."

Brazilian Dede is contracted to Dortmund until 2005 but, given Borussia's financial problems, the club have already hinted that they might be forced to sell some of their best players to balance the books.
