no, because theres alot of history and tradition in both of the clubs.
it would be such a shame, but if the worst comes to the worst, then maybe!
I wouldnt like to see a ground sahre either!

People think it would be best, but Notts County are the only team gaining something. Only one or maybe two of their players will get close to playing in our team. And they can't offer us anything else.

i think they should merge. but if i was a supporter of either i would say no though!!! but it's a bit like trying to get the two sheffield teams to merge- it's never going to happen even if it is in the best interest of all parties concerned (the teams, the city, the game)

Taking into account the fact that the "new" team (Notts Utd?) formed by any merger would have to start out in the Division that the lowest placed doner team (ie County) is competing in we would be loosing rather than gaining. In other words, No Way.
