to accrington stanley

Everton have confirmed that David Ginola has spurned another chance to leave on loan - with non-league Accrington Stanley his latest suitors.
The mercurial French winger, who appears to have little or no chance of forcing his way into David Moyes's starting line-up at Goodison Park between now and the last game of the campaign, refused a move to West Brom last week.

Walter Smith's final moment of insanity. Over the hill. Nuff said.

Hasn't done a thing for us. Apparently, Accrington Stanley came in with a loan bid for him yesterday, and we accepted it!!! He turned it down, but that shows u how much we want to keep him.

I used to be a big fan of Ginola ( even though he was a lazy git at times)
Perhaps a move North of the border would help.I think Alex Mcleish could motivate him.

Maybe, but he certainly doesn't seem good enough to play in the Premiership in England any more.

I feel a little sorry for him Gregory certainly did not want him at the Villa and if you are constantly publicly critiscised by your manager you are not perform are you

As a Man Utd supporter living in Villaland I can understand this post. It was Ellis who bought Ginola, Gregory knew nothing about it - at first. As the story goes, Ellis was on the south of France and heard that Ginola was staying in the same (or next) hotel. So he invited him over for dinner. He asked Ginola how things were at Spurs and to the reply he asked him to come to Villa Park. The rest, as they say, is history.
