I have a lot of respect for Beckham(can't believe i'd ever say that!). He has matured a hell of a lot as a person and a player. He used to be a bit like Alan Smith at Leeds always snarling and kicking out(Argentina), but he gets on with his football now. I still hope he plays shite when he plays against Liverpool, but when he pulls on an England shirt im behind him 100 per cent.

Keep St George in My Heart....

Hypia is a class player and a good choice imo, I hope you all know that the rules are you can't vote for your teamates so don't go gettin wood over Beckham picking Hypia over Keane or Ruud for example.

Whats the big deal, he had to vote for his best player, and hypia was his choice, what do you expect him to do vote for his worst player.

I can only imagine Becks must have had a bad day at the hairdressers! Seriously, its between Ruud and Pires - although Pires might just get it as the votes are already in - then if RVN had a blinder of a finish to the season and upstages the "out for the rest of the season" Pires - it won't matter!

Yes Mark. I have a sneaky suspicion Pires will just get it. Obviously I think RVN should get it; his love of the game; the obvious enjoyment he gets out of it, plus the influence he will have on wannabe strikers is immense.

What kind of shite is that? love of the game? obvious enjoyment? Are you some kind of drug addict or something? Rude boy is obviously shegars lovechild, I would vote for Rude Boy as racehorse of the year, Is he running at the national this year? Horseheaded freak.....

he lives in a box, he looks like a horse

Ruud Boy is a racehorse...

Oh look a mature, orgional and witty comment from a scouser, calling someone over there physical appearance is something of hypocrasy from scousers given the state of most of the schoushe residents and then when you consider they've had Fowler, Beardsley Rush et al playing for them over the years it really is quite ironic ysb

Yes Sorry Mark and everyone else, its just that some Liverpool supporters cannot see past their own team. Sad but true - delete if you so desire.

Red Devil & mark can u not read? I have no arguements about his footballing skills. If you read one of my previous posts I talk of my admiration for Beckham. I'm just laughin my cock off at the fact that someone would base their vote for player of the year on the 'someones love of the game, etc, etc' What a load of shite!!!!! do you think you are a poet or something? In one of your previous post u talk about getting your head kicked in at anfield or words to that affect.....they obviously didn't knock any sense into you then!!!!. Mark what the fuck has it got to do with you anyway? Is red devil your gay lover or something? I mean are you honestly saying Ruud does not look like a racehorse???

If you didn't get my points the 1st time here they are again simplified for the benefit of Red Devil & Co

1. YOUR REASONS FOR VOTING FOR RUUD BOY ARE LAUGHABLE (WHY NOT JUST SAY BECAUSE OF ALL THE GOALS HE'S SCORED)

2. EVEN IF RUUD BOY IS THE BEST PLAYER IN THE LEAGUE, HE IS STILL AN UGLY FUCK WHO LOOKS LIKE A RACEHORSE.

UNDERSTAND???? ....MCFLY.......ANYBODY IN THERE MCFLY

It was a footballing point. Magic just spiced it up. Lets face it, as long as boovy posts the sh*t he calls replies then im not gonna even enter into this topic. Surely you guys must realise how annoying all of this is. Mark for example seems a decent guy. Passionate about his team but in his role in admin, doesnt talk crap or start awful tit for tat arguements. In the past i have become embroiled in these arguements as you may have seen but lets all try and calm it.

On the subject of players of the year, Pires will probably win it. Hyypia has had two quality seasons but never gets the recognition he deserves. Has a player of the year award ever gone to a defender?

I thought so. I guess those guys (Stam, Hyypia, Henchoz, Adams, Keown, dabizas ) will never be recognised. I can see the point though.
