Wigan 1 - 0  West Brom

Early days, I know, but who reckons Wigan might spring a surprise like Watford did a few seasons ago and get promoted consecutively?

They'll fall away. No depth in them.

Possibly, one of the smallest squads in Div 1 apparently, but Whelan has deep pockets to sign new players.

How come that Wimbledon, Watford, Derby, Ipswich, Coventry - teams with Premiership status not far ago - are closing the table?

And a team like Millwal gets the midtable. Despite that they play s***. A friend of mine is a Millwall fan. And every time after he gets back from the game he says that they played crap but... won. Boring footy - to the wing and cross, to the wing and cross.... Maybe it is enough for the 1st div?

Apart from Wimbledon they are in deep deep deep financial trouble through the way they tried to stay in the premiership and the way they managed their finances in the premiership.

Wimbledon are there for obvious reasons - no money, no fans, no ground and hardly a team.

I doubt any of those teams will be back in the Premiership over the next few years
