Yeh thats him, never made the grade with Doyle being first choice up front. Scored a goal on his debut off the bench, got 2 yellows in a matter of minutes straight after coming on as a sub at Everton & then went on loan to Bristol City at end of last season where he ended up being an emergency goalkeeper. He'll do alright in Germany

I was talking to Silvio (Glasgow Rangers lad) and I thought Maierhofer would be really good north of the border ...big target man who could score really well (he used to anyway)
The SPL aint as hard as the EPL so he could fill his boots up there
