I'm not sure what Redknapp sees in him, maybe it's because he's English. Good shot stopper but very prone to lapses in concentration, has looked very shakey when put under pressure from the opposition. A sad indictment on his United career has been his inability to make the number 1 jersey his own, despite Van Der Sar's advancing years and Fergie's continual public backing of him.
Even Tomas bloody Kuzsczak is ahead of him in the pecking order and he's very average. |
