Transfer News: How to stop Spain's dominance? Buy their players & coaches

http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/st...europe&cc=5901

Quote:
Franck Ribery has hinted he could soon sign a new deal with Bayern Munich.

The France midfielder was one of the hottest properties of the summer with big-spending Real Madrid one of the clubs doing their utmost to prise him away from Bayern.

Ribery remained with the Bundesliga giants and has now revealed he could very well extend his contract which is set to expire in 2011.

"The club already knows what they want and I have on my side an idea of what could happen,'' he said. "In football things can sometimes happen really quickly. A simple meeting and everything could be decided. There have not yet been any meetings but that could happen really quickly.''

Ribery is still not 100% fit after a succession of leg injuries and is yet to make his first start of the season.

However, he came off the bench to score his side's third goal in their 5-1 drubbing of Borussia Dortmund on Saturday. And the 26-year-old insists he is loving life at the Allianz Arena.

He added: "I feel loved at Bayern. It makes me feel happy that important people at the heart of the club are showing their confidence in me. The reaction of the supporters at my return also made me happy. This gives me a lot of strength.''
Hmmm interesting... Means not anything right now but a bit of hope I guess. Would be pretty epic if we got him, Real can still get Mata or Silva who are still stunning players, both parties are happy. Perez just wants superstars and Zidane cannot shut the f#ck about Ribery, that is a bit of a problem.

Lol Supre, I didn't say it's anything official. Just stated that it sounds good for us, though nothing is certain. I also don't get what why Red is trying to be sarcastic and failing very hard at it. All I have said about Zizou is he came to Bayern to talk with Ribery about joining Madrid, which shouldn't have been allowed. I also said that he is going to try to make Perez sign him since Zizou loves Ribery, which is what will happen and his many interviews prove that he will do everything to get his French buddy at Madrid.

Gerry pay attention to this boyo. There were many rumors that Ribery simply didn't like being coached by Van Gaal and he wanted out sooner rather than later. To make sure this rumors continue, on Saturday when he scores his goal for Bayern he does this:

They're doin it ^

He reminds of a 12 year old kid, very bi-polar. No one can understand what is happening with him. I think he might have gotten some interesting info about Real from Robben as well, who knows..? Either way, this is good news.

I told you. Robben coming to Bayern would solve many things. Ribery should realize the team that is quickly shaping up around him. Gomez, Olic, Klose, Schweinsteiger, Lahm, ROBBEN. These are world class team-mates. And we're already looking to the winter to increase our stocks even more. We're headed for a good place CL to Munich

I hope we at least make quarter final this year. We have a poor defense (hope Demichellis improves it when he comes back), but in attack and midfield we have a quality CL team. His dream is to win the CL, so depending what we should this season could potentially convince him. Who knows?

Chris don't raise up my hopes like that!

A random journalists claim Bayern will go for Neuer in the winter transfer period. I think he's full of crap personally, and I think Hoeness and Co. would be truly ignorant to go for the GK situation when the full-back one is much more serious and dire. In fact it's been that way since Sagnol's retirement.

Sosa has been loaned out for 1 year, Estudiantes.

Others may be sold/loaned out come January. Breno will most likely be loaned out, Baumjohann and Lell will more than likely be sold. There are other potential sold players, but the others are the most likely scenario.

There are even rumors Tymoschuk will be sold already back to Zenit in January!

If we sell Tymoschuk to anyone I'll probably lose all trust in the club. One is delusional if they think mvb is anywhere close to tymo.

Van Gaal isn't fond of him, so that could be the reason he would leave and the only reason Van Bommel is starting.

Rumors say United and Bayern could be in the race to sign Juventus's Buffon. As much as he would help us, I want a long term option. If there was a chance in hell of getting him, I'll take one of the 3 wonder boys instead because I know they can stabilize one position for a whole decade if not more. Give me Neuer, Adler, or Akinfeev in that order and if we still can't get either and Buffon somehow is available, lets go after him. He shouldn't be our #1 target as a keeper though, we need a young German worldbeater and there are two options wide open.

Personally I don't see Buffon leaving unless he gets frustrated by yet another trophyless season.

In the latest interview of Hoeness where he blasts Lahm, he also explains why Toni didn't leave. He stated Gomez was basically brought in to start, yet they didn't want to "kick out" a player simply because another came in. This is good in terms of morals but bad business wise.

Now this begs the question for our idiotic coach, if one is here simply on a soon-to-leave basis, why the f#ck is he starting?

i think van gal feels stuck with tymo and gomez. They are big money signings and they are supposed to start but he wasn't the one signing them. But its not like his signings are lighting the world on fire. pranjic and the number 4 dude whose name still eludes are just average.

Personally i don't like tymochuck on the ball. He doesn't look comfortable with the ball at his feet. MVB is better with the ball but overall tymo is better. What I'm trying to say here is that playing tymochuck and van bommel at the same time is bad.

Barcelona after Lahm, and 16 million euros is the supposed price tag enough to get him.

I do not know who is the biggest retard in this story, the journalist who believes Lahm can leave for such a price, or all the little retards at Goal.com thinking that because a random guy says it, it must be true.

Lahm is not leaving, though I must say if he were to leave, expect a price tag around Dani Alves's price range or perhaps even higher. One of the few untouchables at Bayern. Would also be nice if Goal.com would let every comment be posted there, but I guess the one where it shows how clueless their journalist is means no post there.

Hoeness saying how he basically rejected 3 70-80m euro offers this summer, poor Chelsea, Barcelona and Real Madrid must really be having too much money to spend with all that debt. He confirms Chelski, though it seems obvious that the other 2 would either of the two, unless Manchester City management is naive enough to believe they ever had a chance.

Toni is out, as good as done. Van Gaal just came out publicly and stated that Luca Toni can go find another club to play for. He also stated it's not all up to him, but he believes that the coach has some say into it.

Gomez got benched when he was scoring goals, he didn't complain yet trained harder. He only got his starting spot because of injuries and Luca's walk-out, and proved that he should of never been benched. He didn't b!tch nor walk out, he trained harder. It's harsh what Van Gaal is doing to Toni, but I think he is doing this for 2 reasons:

- He's no longer needed
- He wants to stamp his authority in our prima-donna little hissy fit we call our locker room

I also don't see why Hoeness is trying so hard to mend this relationship though, the guy is being paid 9 million euros per year and will probably be in the bench. For his salaries alone we can buy a new quality RB. Thanks for everything Toni, but your time is up.

Roma, Napoli and Ac Milan are rumored to be after him. I would pray and sell myself for 2 nights in a row if it meant to get a Hamsik+cash for Toni deal. Just too big to be true, but like I said it would orgasmic.

--

Quite a few people are believed to be out of the club in January.

* Gorlitz will leave in January, he's already settled the issue with the club.

* Breno will go on a loan somewhere, some suspect it might in the Dutch league since VG wants him to play there.

* Rensing will leave in the summer, not January. He's agreed to leave the club in good terms, so he will stay back-up until the end of the season. Good luck Michael, I still think you have good potential.

- Rumors say Tymoschuk might leave in January. Baumjohann is believed to be leaving in the summer, Leverkusen is apparently very interested. Lell is also rumored to be out, they are pissed he went awol when they could have sold him for 3-4m euros at the end of last summer by some idiotic EPL team willing to splash the cash (Hull?). Altintop also rumored to be leaving either in January or the summer, but we need him for the rest of the season due our weak lack of depth in midfield.

Napoli doesnt want to sell Hamsik which means that if you want him you have to pay something ridicolous like €25M and I'm not sure they'd sell.

Toni right now is worth zero and the only way to get rid of him is loaning to Roma on january payng half of his wage (roma doesnt have money).
