Andy Gray is a ******* tool with a hard on for Man Utd. There are very few I like. Nevin should be taken out and shot, he has/had to do with PFA so says nothing bad about anyone.

I hated, loathed, detested Keown and Dixon when they played, but I think they come across very well.

Redknapp is a idiot. I don't think means to be biased and don't see him as too bad, but he's just an idiot with no IQ.

Also Darragh Moloney on RTE,doesn't really annoy me but Liverpool were playing Marseille and this bloke is brought on for Marseille,Moloney turns to Houghton and says
"this guy has got a very powerful strike"
A few minutes later he scuffs a shot and Moloney says
"Well he had a powerful shot on Pro Evolution",Only on RTE


The greatest wind up merchant on telly is Bill O'Herlihy on RTE,he just throws the bait in and Dunphy and Giles go berzerk

andy gray is the best around if im honest, even if his up-himself attitude and man united wankfest get annoying sometimes. His comments recently about Peter Cech's head protection were totally ignorant, he said something along the lines of he'd like to see cech play without the headgear as it has become a comfort blanket for him...hmm nevermind the fact that his skull was initially weaker than normal anyway due to being one of triplets and the fact that it'd naturally be even weaker now having been fractured.

i liked barry davies, and southgate was a quality co commentator during the last world cup.

tyldsley is good but like andy gray is probably on the man united payroll. alan smith is quality, redknapp while quite likeable just states the obvious and is blatantly bias towards certain players (lamps, terry, gerrard).

I think people take ex-players more serious due to he fact they've played the game and can see things the avergae person doesn't. I think people are mixing up pundits with commentators though.

I hate Gerry Armstrong. He has nothing decent to say and contradicts himself every time he talks. No-one ever does anything good in his eyes.

Pleat is just a waste of space, though.

I used to like Hodgson when he did the Italian. He would give you some good insight.

...because then people would say they've never played the game and don't understand? In fairness, thats pretty tosh seen as some of the best managers (i.e. people that understand the game the best) weren't the best players and the best players don't make the best managers.
