According to the latest speculation from France, AS Monaco and Juventus have thrashed out a staight-swap deal that will involving Chilean International striker Marcelo Salas and French U-21 international defender Sebastien Squillaci.

The powers that be at River Plate, Barcelona and Tottenham will be especially eager to learn whether there is any truth to the deal as they were all reportedly hoping on signing Salas, who will definitely be leaving Turin in the summer after an injury bedeviled spell at the Italian champions.

Is this young guy a relative of Schillaci?

Tottenham will nearly sign him then All down from here though for Salas, once you leave a big club like Juve, although I can't remember the last time he played any amount of games in a row so I guess he's surplus to requirements

He has been very unlucky, getting injured at the start of last season (thus only playing aorund 6 games) and got injured in the middle of this season + family problems etc...

At Juve we never saw the real Salas.
