These guys don't have a lot of time for Liverpool or Benitez.Johnny Giles is the only guy remotely sticking up for Liverpool and thats strange.He actually called Mourinho a clown
Liam Brady wanted Liverpool to go out and play attacking football.....yeah Liam that worked in Paris for Arsenal didn't it.
Dunphy the fvcking **** is a self confessed United supporter and he actually penned Roy Keanes autobiography,never has anything good to say about anyone.There is countless incidents with this guy he's been drunk on the show before,had his own show and it got axed because he was to thick to conduct an interview.You see the thing with him is he has to be contreversial because he's a nobody on the panel wheras Brady and Giles played top level

Whats the funniest thing about all of that broadcast was when they returned from the break Dunphy and Brady actually reckoned that Chelsea/Valencia would win the Champions league because they are defensively strong and have the ability to grind out results and thats what you need in the modern game.

is that the one where they said gerrard was a nothing player ? I can't bear to watch it again it was so bad ,no credit for the first half performance ,bunch of drunks and ****s,they make sky pundits look well informed.

giles going on about barca having more of the ball ,regardless of who barca play I would expect them to have more of the ball against any side in the world ,so what we did great in the first half is let them pass the ball amongst themselves in their own half as soon as they stepped into our half they got pounced on by Liverpool players who backed each other ,the plan was so clear that in a way it was a joy to see just how organised and well drilled rafa had them.

We watched it on RTE in the bar.. Dunphy doesn't have a fúckin clue.. There was a quiz on after the match and we named our team "Eamon Dunphy sucks balls"

!

They were talking nonsense the whole way through the build up.. Don't take it to heart, the whole panel there were probably blind drunk. He calls us 'lucky' for hitting the bar

!

Says we were negagtive.. first half, didn't we have 10 shots to their 1, which was a wild smash from Ronaldinho into the crowd.

"When is Jermaine Pennant ever going to be in a team that wins the Champions League", well, you wouldn't expect David May, Igor Biscan or Djimi Traore to win it and they did.

He criticises Benitez too.. Lets have it Dunphy, you go out and mastermind a 2 legged victory over the Champions of Europe..

Hehe, after finding out more about this Dunphy twit, I think you are probably right..........Brady was always Dalglish wannabe anyway. Didn't win much in his career did he?

Liam Brady slagging us off, well and truly spat the dummy slating benitez, then getting told by the head of the panel 'you said benitez had got his tactics right at half time', and he said 'no no i never said that, i said he had set his side out to play that way, and so far he had it right' same f uckin difference surely? Brady also says barcelona will be kicking themselves that they never beat a liverpool side that only had hard work to offer'. He also went on about the 'for beauty of the game, he wanted barcelona to win', etc,etc.

Only one who remotely stuck up for liverpool was johnny giles, who said we 'deserved to win over the 2 legs'. That was about as glowing as his praise got mind you! He went onto say 'liverpool lacked physical and morale courage 2nd half and only the post of an upright stood between them and going out', 'very true' retorted the panelist, 'but they could also have been 3 nil up at half time' a comment they all wanted to convieniently forget!!

The only people missing off the 'lets slate liverpool' panel, were charlie Nicholas, paul merson and richard keys who usually quick to snipe about something or other!!

The head of the panel stuck up for us throughtout saying the others were very harsh and saying we were in the next round and deserved to be, which just about sums it up!

Theres a time and a place to play expansive football, and its not against a team with the best forward line in world football. Messi/Pennant, Bellamy/Eto, Ronaldhino/Riise, etc no contest, beauts like that panel can moan all they want but but we beat them fair and square over 2 legs and thats a FACT!
