All of them are superstars and spurs are a super team.

Lennon and Huddlestone are going to be the only names known and even they are not what people call superstars.

uru raises a good point though, if you look at our whole team, the average age is ridiculously low, which is just positive for the future.

Arsenal are building for the future, look where they are now! We can sit here and compare us to other teams, but we aren't other teams, and I think we can do better.

I think you can do a lot better too. considering the last name comes from udderland.

it is not that you are being compared to other side, it is that you are being measured up against others, such as the arsenal, and at the moment, they are winning in terms of youngsters, like United before them.

The difference is that wenger, fergie are good at blooding them and have the squad capable of giving them games, they always have a core of veteran players to help them along. the differance is with spurs struggling at the moment can't see any youngsters playing. Currently I can't see any of these playing in the near future.

I did not say spurs are ****e like sunderland I said that sunderland bought lots of youngsters and when it called for strong heads they were found wanting. Personally If I were a spurs fan I would much rather have bought a few senior players 25-28yrs and strengthen the squad now, because there is no garentee for the future.

The thing about arsenal and man u is that we will keep winning things with our kids and keep them intereted in the club right up to the point where they become the world class players that they have the potential to be.
With respect to tottenham, can they win something soon enough before they lose all there kids? I don't think they can.
And like has been mentioned, Arsenal kids beat liverpool 6-3, and that was no fluke, they have done it before where as tottenhams kids aren't that good. I think, like carrick, you will lose the good kids like Leeds did. They had a bloody great young squad, imagine if all those players had stuck together at leeds before their financial troubles as well as adding as you do over the years, they had the potential to be a big premiership and european force but it didn't happen.
I can see the same thing happening with you guys.
And I have to admit, I wont be too upset....

i don't think so addict, in fact i think jol is going to sell a few of these kids and gain enough money to get superstars and keep spurs afloat and win something 4 sure in the next year or so, and if we end up like leeds (wich i admire) in coca cola league one i'll still be right here suporting this great club and hating the scum and their emirates library

how can you sell kids and get superstars in return?
Who would go to tottenham when, if they are superstars, they will be getting attention from man u, chelsea and the rest of Europe (I wont say Arsenal because we dont buy superstars).
If this is an honest opnion of what you think you can achieve in the next year I think you are in for a dissapointing seasen! In all honstly, does any other tottenham supporter think they will be strong enough season to win anything?
When was the last time one of the top four didn't win the FA Cup? When was the last time a team won the league when they weren't expected to at the start of the season?
I am not saying you wont ever be able to compete, otherwise that would make football boring. But I think you are a few years off from winning anything, and then it will be the Carling cup.

your a good side (except when you play us or arse it seems!) but i wouldnt say any of them are superstars, lennon could well be in the next year, huddlestone could be outstanding in 1-3 years, but none of em are yet.

I think the thing thats majorly screwed us up here is carrick leaving a season too early, its not the clubs intension to sell players mainly because we're in a healthy situation money wise, huddlestone's been thrown in the deep end and now the teams suffered as a whole, now we're in a bit of a ****ty situation because we've got to either hope that he steps up next season, or buy a player whos going to last two or so seasons till huddlestone blosoms.

When it comes to players getting sold, I'm more worried about Berbatov leaving then anyone else, he's going to be on two years from this summer which means we're either going to have to sell him or hope to HELL we have a much better season next year.

tbh i think our season can variate on the system working around a player, carrick was the man who took the team up his shoulders last year and we had a great season. if we can do the same with huddlestone we would rule but as long as he is inmature we'll have to stick with zokora.
