Two important spanish radio stations, cadena SER y RAC1 have informed this night that samuel etoo and his agent, Zoran Bekic were on Monday night having dinner with Laporta and Rosell in Barcelona. The price of exit put by Mallorca might be 18 million euros although Laporta would try to cheapen the operation with players.

What do you think?

i would definetely prefer eto'o over larsson, eto'o has proven he can score a lot of goals in la liga with mallorca, with ronaldinho, giuly, and possibly deco giving him service, imagine how many he can score? eto'o is also very young

i have read in sport.es that the barca offer for eto'o is 16 million euros...
wat do u guys think of this?

i'd like to see etoo and larsson up front with giuly, xavi and ronaldinho behind them. that would be the most potent offense in la liga.

how come everybody is leaving out saviola? i would rather see saviola and eto'o, but seeing as rijkaard doesnt favour el conejo, larsson will probably start

I'd prefer Larsson and Eto'o, though it would be great to have all.

keep saviola and now larsson has nr 17, we still have no new nr9, which may mean laporta will still sign a nr 9

Etoo would be a good buy for Barca. We (Newcastle) were looking at bringing him to SJP but it never materialised. he didnt do much in the uefa cup against us this season. although we didnt give them much chance hitting them 7-1 on aggregate.

Etoo is young and would be the young striker option for barca to support the already popular saviola. Larsson was signed to a 1 year contract which means there is always the option that barca may not want to extend if Etoo starts to turn the heat up.

Lets not forget that Larsson is an old player.
