St Mirren take Celtic striker Paul McGowan on loan
 Celtic striker Paul McGowan has joined St Mirren on a season-long loan deal. The 22-year-old has made eight first-team appearances for Celtic, netting his only goal against Rapid Vienna in the Europa League last season. McGowan has made 60 appearances during the course of two other loan spells with Hamilton and Morton. He scored 16 goals in 44 matches for Morton in 2007 and the Greenock club had an Ł80,000 offer, plus 25% of any ongoing transfer, rejected by Celtic. |
