> Terá quartos individuais e dois tipos de quartos duplos – um para profissionais e técnicos e outros para jovens em formação (com camas de beliche e área de estudo);
> Ao todo, o bloco terá capacidade para 190 camas.




Lazer + Refeitório

> O complexo prevê uma área reservada ao lazer que incluirá salas de jogos, uma zona de estar e várias salas de estudo, cada uma delas equipada com computadores pessoais;
> Estes equipamentos irão permitir não só a constante actualização dos futebolistas profissionais, como também a educação dos mais jovens hóspedes do Centro de Estágio, que conciliarão a actividade desportiva e a vertente escolar.

Refeitório
> Este espaço será composto por duas áreas de refeições. Uma com serviço de mesa, destinada à equipa principal e outra em regime de “self-service” que poderá ser utilizada pelos mais jovens. Terão capacidade para servir 200 refeições em simultâneo;
> Existirá ainda uma copa de apoio para serviço de pequenos-almoços. A cozinha principal possuirá todos os equipamentos técnicos necessários e terá um acesso de serviço independente com ligação directa à via de serviço.


Área Administrativa + Imprensa

Área Administrativa
> Situa-se num espaço virado para a entrada principal do complexo, onde se encontra a portaria. Possui uma entrada a poente, destinada ao público em geral, e outra a nascente, para o pessoal administrativo e técnico;
> O piso zero estará reservado ao pessoal que trabalha com as camadas jovens e o piso 1 estará ao serviço do futebol profissional. Existirá ainda uma secretaria e uma recepção.

Imprensa
> O Sport Lisboa e Benfica desperta diariamente um enorme interesse na comunicação social;
> O espaço Incluirá um auditório com capacidade para 75 pessoas, para projecção de filmes, conferências de imprensa, seminários, entre outras actividades bem como um espaço de convívio com serviço de bar e uma pequena copa de apoio, assim como uma sala de entrevistas e várias áreas de trabalho distintas.

no its not...cuz it is not the quality of the building and fields that distinguishes an academy it is its deveopment of players, which is why i believe that the best academies in europe are sportings, ajax, parma as well as a few others... but not necessarily any that belong to a huge team like man utd, barcelona or ac milan, tho all are fairly good

when i said its one of the best academys in europe i meant to the building!! i wasnt talking about the youth they have.. and u dont have to wait till its ready to know if its a good building or not!! and it wasnt me who said it, it was the persons who are inside it and know how the academy will be.

QUESTÕES DE LOGÍSTICA ADIAM TRANSFERÊNCIA

A equipa principal do Benfica não vai trabalhar no novo centro de estágio do Seixal esta temporada. As obras estão a decorrer dentro dos prazos previstos – aliás, estão praticamente concluídas – e a inauguração até pode acontecer no dia do aniversário do clube (28 de Fevereiro), conforme desejou Luís Filipe Vieira em inúmeras ocasiões. O adiamento da mudança prende-se única e exclusivamente com questões logísticas.

De facto, os responsáveis encarnados entendem que nesta altura não fazia muito sentido transportar do Estádio da Luz para as novas instalações toda a parafernália que diariamente é necessário ter junto do grupo. A equipa encontra-se numa fase importante da época, tem pela frente um conjunto de jogos decisivos nas três competições em que está envolvida, pelo de momento o que Koeman e os seus jogadores menos precisam é da azáfama que inevitavelmente está inerente a qualquer mudança.

Deste modo, para garantir a tranquilidade junto da sua equipa principal, os encarnados só vão mudar-se para a margem Sul do rio Tejo no início da próxima época, e aí sim, o grupo treinará diariamente nas novíssimas instalações. Até lá, continuará a dividir-se entre o Estádio Nacional e a Luz durante mais alguns meses

Benfica is looking for a 10year sponsorship, that pays us 1,5 million euros per year. ( that will pay the 15m that benfica spent in the construction of the Academy)


the academy wont be formally inaugurated till the negotiations are concluded

Well Rivaldo just got caleld up for mozambique at the tender age of 17 in their must win QF.

Paito is the only other noticable player in the call. Hopefully Rivaldo performs as well as they hope.

Pedro Coreira,David Simao,Andre Carvalhas are supposed to be very good

i've been following this generation pretty close, Andre Carvalhas is the only star of the team, but his contract finishes in the end of the season, and benfica are offering low contract offers compared to the ones he alreday received. Benfica have this month left to offer him a decent proposal otherwise he will join Sporting who offered hima pretty good deal, At Madrid and Bochum have also offered him contract.

Miguel Rosa is the second best player of the team and he's playing very well lately impressing everyone, also finishing the contract.

From what Carvalhas' cousin said Rui Costa was impressed with both and wants to keep them.

from the other 2nd year of junior, Airton is a pretty good left wing back, and i think he can be pretty good.

Boti Demel, is a powerful striker ala Drogba but needs to improve his finishing ability, i'd keep him and would loan him out.

Wang Gang started pretty well scored like 16 goals in like 9 games, after that he just died, pretty average, i'd get rid of him.

some other good stars are Lassana Camara still Junior B, but playing with junior A team, just scored the victory goal against Porto, a Manuel Fernandes style of midfielder, very shinning future.

David Simao is already an usual call of senior team, but still will have another year as youth, same like Leandro Pimento common starter of portugal's youth national teams.

And of course Ishamel Yartey the Ryan Giggs of Ghana, technique gifted inner midfielder, who can play down the left flank too.

Roderick renovou até 2017, Nélson Oliveira assinou até 2014. As cláusulas de rescisão são de 30 milhões.

Mais duas medidas de investimento a longo prazo: a SAD renovou com Roderick Miranda, central de 18 anos, e com Nélson Oliveira, avançado de 18 anos. Dois jogadores que os responsáveis encarnados consideram de grande futuro: Roderick assinou até 2017, ao passo que Nélson fica ligado ao clube até 2014. E tanto um como o outro ficam blindados por uma cláusula de rescisão no valor de 30 milhões de euros.
