Is supposedly interesting Manchester City.
Despite the goals he scored in the World Cup the Kaiserslautern forward didn't impress me much at all. How has he done domestically and what kinda sum do you think he would be sold for?

A decent goalscorer who would suit Man City, just at their level, not very high.
I would estimste the fee at £3-5m

Not a big fan of his, but I must admit he scored a great goal (header as usual) when he played against Real Madrid with the rest of the world. Baggio's assist by the way, was amazing too.

Radzinski is quality and don't knock Rooney he's class and I bet you wish you had him...and all 3 of those everton strikers are better than a Goat so I dunno what you're complaining about
Klose is just a World Cup wonder and as Jere says never won anything :salute and 2/3 of his goals came against the s***test team in the competition who couldn't defend crosses

1. Ingles por favor senorita
2. We have 4 possibly 5 strikers (when fit in the case of one) at Everton that Keegan would like.
Goater is a 1st division striker, we all know it but you seem to be too stubborn to admit it

Come on guts you have to lay off Foley. It's not the kid's fault that he can't differentiate between good and bad players. He supports Citeh and therefore is severly limited in the amount of quality players he gets to see, hence him believing that the Goat is a premiership striker.

Mock Goater all you like but the bloke always scores goals. I think he reached double fugures in his first Premiership spell where as the great Tomas Radzinski hit the almighty amount of three wasn't it? While Im not the biggest Man City fan I don't think City really would like any of your strikers Kenzo other than Rooney when they have the likes of Anelka (sh!ts on any of your current forwards at the moment by a mile) as well as Wanchope (who again is mocked but regularly hits double figures) and Macken to come back from injury.
As for Klose, nah.
As for Foley get off his back - it's all a bit boring. (Bring that smiley back!)

I will now give you facts mate;
Radzinski; 6 goals in first prem season, 5 goals in champions league career, 5 goals so far this seaon and 3 assists
Goater; 6 goals in first prem season, 0 goals in champions league career, 5 goals so far this season and 3 assists.
Radzinski is 3 years younger so will murder any of Goaters career 'heights'.
Dont debate when you come out with all the incorrect figures

Dec 21 2002, 02:21 PM
And as for Anelka being better than ours, true enough but then we have paid what for ours;
£3m Campbell
£4.5m Radzinski
£4m Ferguson
Thats £11.5m which doesnt even pay for one Anelka
And, about Keegan (not) wanting them, your having a laugh, any of those would get picked ahead of all the Man City fowards to partner Mr Nicolas "will get bored and start throwing toys out of his pram" Anelka.

Rooney on the bench for Citeh? He might be only 17 but he'd walk into the Citeh team. Hmmmm the Goat or Rooney? The Goat or Rooney? Tough one that, NOT!

I didn't research the facts, hence the "think" and question mark.
Fair enough, the "brilliant" Tomas Radzinski hit the same amount of goals as the ever so rubbish Shaun Goater in their debut Premiership seasons. Want to bring transfer fees into it now to aid your arguement? If you wanna get picky you forgot to add that Radzinski has started 15 Prem games this season while the Goat has started just the 9.

And also look back to last season where you will se Radzinski was injured/coming back for the large part hence the need to play Steve Watson upfront :o
Anyway, this wont end, so i will agree to disagree ;)

none of you can say that goater has been a waste
250k from bristol rovers
how much was radzinski 4.5 m was it from anderlecht
goater has turned out to be one of citys all time leading goalscorers only 75 behind the leader Eric Brook on 178
and noone can take that away from the lad

Definately not guv, I thought he was £175k
Anyway, he has served City very well (averaging a goal every other game i think) albiet at a nationwide standard for the most part.
But yes, definately not a waste and yes a very good servant but thats not the discussion ;)

Wasn't Goater signed from Bristol City, not Rovers for sommit like £400-500k?

ever since goater came to man city, people have said he is not up to it. when he came (from bristol city for 400K) we (i am mcfc season ticket holder) were fighting relegation to div 3, ultimately relegated.
the following season goater scored , and missed, a hatful but city eventually were promoted.
the next year everyone said that goat is not up to div 1, result he scores 29 goals and city are promoted again.
the next year everyone says that goat is not up to premiership, result he scores 9 goals in 15 games.
again last year he filled his boots in a promotion season.
this year he has already humiliated gary neville and barthez.
any anoraks feel free to correct my stats, the facts show:
he has never let his club down, he has improved year by year, he is a great team player and this season has come stronger through playing alongside anelka. when he hangs up his boots, they should build a statue of him. (OK hes no dixie dean, evertonians, but he is a hero at maine road)

Yeah, Goater rejected the move to Roma I heard claiming he didn't fancy the life style. Shame that as I thought his game was really suited to Italy.
