Copenhagen chairman Flemming Ostergaard is looking for Uefa to order their clash with Hamburg to be replayed.
The Danish outfit are still smarting from their controversial defeat, with referee Matt Messias' decision to hand Hamburg a late penalty the main focus of unrest.
Ostergaard was less than impressed with Messias' handling of Uefa Cup encounter, he sent off two Copenhagen players and one from Hamburg, and feels Europe's ruling body were wrong to hand him the tie.
"According to my conviction, we should replay the match," Ostergaard told Onside.
"There have been committed mistakes by the English FA and referees' association. Therefore we have appealed to Uefa for fair play.
"It is clearly stated in the Uefa regulations that a referee who is not regularly refereeing in the best domestic league, should not referee in the Uefa Cup." Uefa have yet to comment on the controversy and it remains to be seen if the Danes are granted their wish
