Former World Cup coach Berti Vogts has been hired by Scotland, becoming the nations's first foreign coach. Scotland and Germany are in the same qualifying group for the 2004 Championships, leading Vogts to quip; Just remember when we meet Germany, please call me Berti McVogts.
