View Full Version : Why is Woerns whining?!

Woerns has launched a scathing attack Klinsmann for leaving him out of the squad for the country's next two friendly matches. I can't understand his reasons. This guy hasn't played properly for the NT ever since 2002. So why does he think he should be a member? Not even fit for the bench. We can't claim that he still has time to improve because he's about to expire already. And we can't give him an "inexperience" excuse either. Can't he remember how he gave the dutch two goals in two different matches. One during 2004 leaveing Nistelrooy to score from a very bizzare angle and the other during that last game when he handed a gift to Rubbens. What a loser! :handbags

Woerns will always be criticised on the forum no matter what he does

I can understand Woerns, because Klinsmann said that Robert Huth is better than him - a player who has nearly no chance at his club should be better than him?

Personally I am not a huge fan of either of them. But if I had to choose, I would take Huth. He is faster, stronger, taller. Plus he plays at a very strong team with experienced world class defenders. So its tough for him.

I think it's time for Woerns to say goodbye.... His international career is over now ...

What Woerns did is really disgusting. I hope he would leave the NT quietly.

Actually some players such as Jeremies, Baumann and Nowotny chose to quit quietly as well. I cant see why Woerns cant keep his mouth shut. He is not an important figure in our nt anymore

I used to respect Woerns alot. But since that day when Nistelrooy scored in us (EU2004), I couldn't forgive neither Woerns nor Ernst. It cost us dearly.

Huth isnt even good enough for the U21. He got fooled by the Azerbaidjan strikers time after time. If I was Wörns I would drink my pain and anger about this stupidity and unbelieveable decision away with a bottle of Wiskey or if available Absinthe. Wörns aint a great player but how do you call a Huth if he stumbles around against a 3rd class U21 team from Azerbaidjan? I call this a football-spasti... :drinkbeer

They made errors on the football field-they are not paedophiles !!
Kahn cost us the world cup final-I'm sure you forgive him.
Worns can do no right on this forum while Deisler and Lauth can do no wrong!
Fans of the national team should not hate any German players-that is disgusting!!
Worns, Ramelow etc allways gave their best for Germany and are honest players.
They deserve respect.

Well, I see it this way:
Klinsi knows what Wörns can do for the team...he dosen't need to learn anything, unlike Huth. Klinsi gives him a chance to improve (god knows if he will use it!) Huth is still young...and there must be a reason why he's a Chelsea player ;) The guy has talent, but needs to learn a lot.

The blame for that one is Ernst alone.

I don't think Huth is a good player.His style is similar to a 1950s defender !!
You cannot use your shoulder at all in this modern game where FIFA are only interested in attacking forwards and exciting games so they can keep making money (and helping Brazil win everything.Tackling a Brazilian player is now a red card offence !!)
Yet the question is-how is Huth reserve at one of the best teams in Europe and how has he played for Germany ?
What do coaches like about him and why hasn't his bull in a china store style been coached out of him ?

I never said they don't. They deserve respect. But Woerns should understand that haven't performed well for the NT ever since 2002. So why is he whining? He's no good for us now.

No sir, Woerns is to be blamed ofcourse. He gave the oportunity for a difficult shoot from an extremely acute angle by Nistelrooy. He was slow to block the attacker from reaching the ball or even to block the ball. A very naive mistake by a suposedly experienced defender. He exerted no pressure.
Yet the question is-how is Huth reserve at one of the best teams in Europe and how has he played for Germany ?
Good question. Huth has some virtues. He's tall and enjoys enormus strength. He's fast, with very high fitness. And he's very stubborn and shows high spirit and commitment. All this is blown up by his clumsiness. I was the first to criticize Huth in this forum and point out his defficiencies. But now I call for patience with him. He might turn out to be a good CB when he matures & gains experience.
