i've always had high hopes of him. i thought that he's more talented than schweini. anyway, he need to play consistently for at least 20+ matches IMO to be selected. time's not right for him yet

There was a time when he was my favourite German prospect.
I hope he finds back to that form despite those bad injuries.
If he does he will be a star for the German NT, maybe not 2006, but after that for sure.

One swallow doesnt make it summer. Hope he realises that he can play good in the BL and that he will have his breakthrough now this season. If he plays consistently good he could be called up for the WC06. But that is a long way to go for him since, unlike Jansen/Sinkiewicz at their position, we have a good and established midfield.
