A good round for the BL in general...

Well, of course fans in places like Bayern or Leverkusen might differ but in general it was a good round for several reasons...

1. HSV showed that FCB are far from unbeatable..

2. With HSV and Werder breathing down their necks and Hertha and Schalke standing right behind them we have five big clubs from five big urban centres from no particular part of Germany in the lead group. The press will love it...The sponsors will love it, The DFB will love it.

3. The resurrection of Mainz and BMG shows that it can be done, it´s not like any downward spiral will go on forever.

4. The relegation battle looks certain to be as intense and exciting as ever the fight for the title.


All in all..I´m mostly positive :holy247

I have my doubts with HSV going on like this the whole season. They will lose a game sometime, AND after that you will see the character of the team. Either they fall in a hole or the defeat won't impress them.
Just look at Wolfsburg last year, was kinda same situation. Well, I don't hope it cause it is good for the BL, like you said. ;)
