No Cambiasso? Oh well much better for Inter. As for Kily, Inter has little use for him.

Cambiasso in the NT never convinces, that is why this time Pekerman has called up Martín Demichelis, who has far as i know is playing well in Bayern Munich. As far as Kily goes, he's call up was surprising, he hardly plays in Inter and when he does they are poor preformances by him.

Cambiasso is pekerman's boy and he already has his ticket to Germany, these are the last two games to really try players.
I already know he'll Call Lucas Castroman :clap :clap :clap and "El Pato" Abondanzieri.

i dont see Castroman getting called up this time, maybe for a friendly, Pekerman has called up already 6 forwards, unless he'll play him RW i dont see it happening. I would like Bilos to get called up.

I don't think so, he has done very well in the confederations cup and I think he hasn't been called-up because his place is the safest in the NT.
I hope Burdisso can play in the next few games for Inter and will earn his call-up too, he deserves it so much.

Cambiasso isnt half of what Mascherano is, he has trouble being defensive, ill give him credit that maybe he's better offensively than Mascherano but he has a hard time stopping people in midfield, showed it last game, as Aequitas mentioned, Cambiasso is pekerman's boy, that is why he's place is so secure, but alot of people(media) agree that he isnt the best option for CM.

Double Wrong, Lucas Castroman is 24 and played almost 4 season at Lazio.
He plays as a striker now at Velez though he played as mid wing for a long time. The guy is a tank and can runs like a machine all 90 mins.

More info on Lucas Castroman:
Player Profile: Lucas Castroman
8/12/2005 12:04:00 AM
When Velez Sarsfield won the Clausura championship last season it was in large part thanks to their star midfielder Lucas Castroman. Since returning to Argentina after four years in Serie A Castroman has become a key player for his club and for many was the MVP of the Clausura championship.
Name: Lucas Martin Castroman
Date of Birth: 02/10/1980, Buenos Aires, Argentina
Height: 1.73 meters
Weight: 75kg
Position: Midfielder
Professional Debut: Velez Sarsfield (1998) at the age of 17
Former Clubs: SS Lazio and Udinese (Italy)
Current Club: Velez Sarsfield (Argentina)
Lucas Castroman (24) helped Velez win their first title in eight years (16 half championships). Before this year last time Velez won a title Castroman was at the club, this was also in the Clausura Championship on the 31/5/1998 when they defeated Huracan 1-0. He moved to Lazio after helping the club from Liniers clinch the title.
Four years later and on Castroman’s return from Italian soccer Velez were crowned champions once again. On the 26/6/05 Velez thrashed Estudiantes de la Plata 3-0 with one of Castroman’s goals at Liniers and they clinched the title with two matches still remaining.
Velez won the Clausura by 6 points and were the team that scored the most goals, and conceded the least. Of 19 matches they won 11, drew 6 and only lost 2. They scored 32 goals in favour with 14 against. Castroman was Velez’s top scorer with 9 goals, and finished joint fourth in the goal scoring rankings.
In total Castroman has made 114 appearances for Velez, scoring 18 goals.
Castroman made his debut for Velez in early 1998 when he was only 17 and just after a couple of seasons at the club his good performances caught the attention of Italian club SS Lazio. He signed for Lazio in 2000 and even though he was very young he adapted to life and especially soccer in Italy thanks to the help of other South American players at the club, especially Diego Simeone and Marcelo Salas. He stayed at Lazio for three years, before moving to Udinese in 2004.
In the second half of 2004 Castroman rejected many offers to stay in Europe and returned to Argentina and to Velez. At that time he commented that his return was because he moved abroad when he was very young and he wanted to play in Argentina when in his prime, and he still has plenty of time to return to European soccer in the future.
In recent months he has been linked with a possible move back to Europe after interest from various clubs including Italian champions Juventus, but for now he is happy to be playing his soccer in Argentina and although he has been pressured to sign for Argentine giants River Plate he has made it clear that he is going to stay at Velez for at-least another season.
Castroman hopes that another good season with Velez might earn him a place in Argentina’s World Cup squad, and although it may seem difficult nothing is impossible. He has only made a handful of appearances for the Argentine national team, and his most recent cap was in the 1-1 tie with Mexico that was played last March. In recent months Argentine coach Jose Pekerman has commented that in his view Castroman is one of the best players playing in Argentina and that he is a very good option looking ahead to next years World Cup.
Last week the Argentine Apertura Championship kicked-off and champions Velez lost 3-2 away to a well-reinforced San Lorenzo outfit. Castroman was among the scorers for Velez, but was also sent off after protesting against a refereeing decision.
Clubs interested in signing Castroman:
England: Tottenham, Fulham
Spain: Atletico Madrid, Celta Vigo, Espanyol
Italy: Juventus, Parma
Mexico: Cruz Azul
Argentina: River Plate

You don't remeber much, he was no striker back then. And they didn't give him the chance to develope with his 20 years.

Candy-Man didnt say he was a striker, he just said he was an awfull player (he was a winger in Italy and couldnt cut it) and he cant believe he has turned to be a good striker (so do I).

:ninja
He is much better defensively than offensively. Its because of his defensive capabilities that he was awarded the title "most valuable foreign player." If a defensive player can do that in Italy, it says something.

:o hadn't read that post, but I have seen 3-4 games when he has played in the NT and to be fair he doesnt look as good as he does at Inter :D but im 100% sure that once he finds his feet in the NT pekermans choice will be justified.
Last year the World was raving about Adriano, every Inter fan was raving about Cambiasso even more :USA_Blue
having seen him play for both, it's true he plays alot better for Inter. However I still prefer el jefecito
