I think Stuttgart are setting the example for all major European clubs to follow.

Starved of money-manger Magath has been forced to use young players either cheaply purchased or young players that have come through the youth system.
I think this is the way that football should go in future.

There are no merceneries in Stuttgart just honest players wanting to play well in a tremendous team spirit.

Stuttgart's team generally comprises of young players -Hildebrand,Hinkel,Hleb,Seitz,Kuranyi and Amantinidis.
Tiffert is usually sub but is one for the future and so is Wenzel.
Abley supported by experience players like Balakov and Soldo.

Meira is the only big money player they have purchased.

With a bit of luck they could finish fourth this year.

Bruges this week will be tough though.

i am truly impressed by stuttgart this year, i thought they were in danger of relegation

this is what happens when you give the young players who are hungry for the oppurtunity to play first team football a chance

if all teams in germany would sell thier "mercenaries" and let thier youth play they may struggle for 1-2 years , but they would dominate europe.. think of the potential a team full of 7-8 players under 25 that can play first team football at a european level..
that would give that team 6-7 years of prosperity at least, and in europe they would run circles around the 30-34 year old "mercenaries"

i can only dream.. but i hope they make it to europe next year and do well in UEFA cup, that way the rest of the big european clubs leran to use thier youth
