Under 21 test game in Achen!

After the debacle of the 5-1 defeat by Bosnia, the U 21 returned to their impressive form by destroying Holland 4-1.

Despite being without Andreas Hinkel (Stuttgart-rested),Benny Lauth (1860 Munich-suspended),Michael Zepek (Ahlen ) and Hanno Balitsch (Leverkusen-called up by Rudi Voller to the senior team)-the German team swept aside the Dutch by scoring the four goals all in the first half in front of the 4000 crowd.
Holland had Molhoek sent off just before half time.
One slight bad thing was no gaol for Benjamin Auer who last scored in the 2-0 win in Italy in August and has not now scored in three games for Germany or for Mainz-all since his move from Moechengladbach.

Team: Starke (Bayer Leverkusen)
Preuss (Bayer Leverkusen), Franz (VfL Wolfsburg), Schlicke (Greuther Fürth), Rau (VfL Wolfsburg)

Feulner (Bayern Muenchen), Tiffert (VfB Stuttgart), Hitzlsperger (Aston Villa), Gemiti (Udinese Calcio)

- Auer (FSV Mainz 05), Kuranyi (VfB Stuttgart)

Goals: 1:0 Kuranyi (12.), 2:0 Kuranyi (16.), 3:0 Gemiti (39.), 3:1 Robben (40.), 4:1 Hitzlsperger (44.)

Marco Vorbeck (Hansa Rostock) für Kuranyi 82

Dutch juniors have always been s***e. It's just the way it is. Think it is the Dutch kiddies are'nt as mature and proffesional in ther youth.

That is true-the Dutch are not very good at youth which is very surprising.

I was present at the Under 18 European Championships in Germany in 2000 and alot of players who played last night played in that tournament.
The Dutch were supposedly one of the favourites but totally flopped and surprise surprise lost their discipline.

Having said all that despite the defeat in Bosnia-the Under 21 are a good team.Any team that goes to Italy and win 2-0 is good(Auer 2 goals!)

Expect a different story tonight

Thanks for my signature guys.
