once again Jappa Stam has been linked with a move to Manchester City

after a bad game yesterday Keegan needs to strengthen his squad

With Man Utd still owen 7 million pounds from his transfetr to Lazio , they are looking to offload to pay off their debts

Stam said , " i know i have intrest from in Italy from clubs such as Inter , AC Milan and Juventus but in England i have intrest too , especially from Manchester City , and that would be a move that would appeal to me"

I heard City can get him by free coz Lazio owe him 5 monthe's salary. However, it's a big sad to me - a Lazio fan.

Manchester City are close to pulling off the shock free transfr of former man utd defender Jaap Stam

Keegan will face competition from Lioverpool and Newcastle but the dutch ace is ready for a return to Manchester

Lazio are in financial crisi and have been unable to pay man utd the outstanding 7 million
City have been trying to put together a financial package to buy Stam - 7 million of which would go to Utd

But Stam claims he hasnt been payed for 5 months and if he wins a case for breach of contract he could be free to join City on a free.

That would still leave td to fight Lazio for the money they are owed.

Stam would be a great signing for every Premier team. Especially city, cause Stam wants to get back with Fergie.

good player for a season or two longer, great if you can get him for free. if you can get your defence sorted i think you have enough man power going forward to climb that table

Stam could be a very decent addition to the team, although we're beginning to sign former Manure players at an alarming rate. :D

We could probably extort him away from Lazio for a bargain fee (if fee there is), and he's interested in coming back to Manchester. I say let's do it: it'll make the OT derby a lot more interesting.

this guy has caused the down fall of man utd since he left , coz since he did there defence has been s***

with out defence bein dire too , he wud be a big help

great player

ive also heard bout keegan wantin Bowyer , this rumour was around last season

i think if keegan mada realistic bid for him veneables would have to accept it , coz he sgonna lose him on a free at end of season anyway

I'd love them to sign Owen Hargreaves. Young lad, great potential, versatile, and Canadian :D

ive been saying that for the past week too

if he wants to leave Bayern and the big clubs wont spend the cash for a players they dont need

and if a club like boro think they have a chance of signing him , we must too

he is a versatil midfileder who has lots of differnet qualities in his game

he can attack very weel and he can put his foot in

this guy is quality , and an all round midfielder
