When people disagreeing Lincoln to be a German NT player, on the other hand, Rafael, is now in our U21. I m neutral. I think he is an average player in the Bundesliga frankly, n i m definitely neutral on this matter. Wut do u guys think?

I don't like him.You know, the biggest problem for Hertha is their poor strikers.Rafael is not better than German local youngsters. And I can't see a bright future on him at all.

Totally agree. He has speed but that's it. How long has he been in Germany now?
Here (http://www.herthabsc.de/index.php?id=9073&type=4) he says he'd like to play for Holland.

I read too that he would prefer to play for Holland. And that is pretty sad since its not like hes a great player. I think he has great abilities but although he plays often for Hertha as a starter and cant make a huge impact i think he wont become a good player. So why degrading ourselves by calling up a player who said this and wont become a great player? Only reason for me to tolerate a player like Rafael or Lincoln to play for us out of opportumismn would be because they are world class players. But both are not so **** them. I know I said some time ag that it would be great if Rafael would become german. But I didnt know that he would prefer to play for Holland back than.

In fact if i am forced to choose between Lincoln n Rafael, Lincoln is my choice no doubt. Almost the same scenario but Lincoln was one of the best AM in bundesliga last season. n Rafael isn't even any better than Hanke, Auer and Odonkor imo, but well, as we are desperate in finding more attacking talents, he may well be an option in the future, who knows

Isn't that almost reason enough to disallow him to play for Germany? :ninja

Nearly his whole family was killed by the government of angola, Rafael only survived because he was looking TV with his uncle and was not as his home.
Rafael hates Angola more than anything else, so he had one year ago no other choice.

The thing is how long has he been staing in Germany? 4 years i supposed?
Well, someone please tell me wut is the point of World Cup, Euro, etc now? A national team may have players with double or even triple nationalities. The definition of "national football" is something of a blur to me at the moment.
Like Odonkor, Klose, Kuranyi.............It is fine thAt they play for Germany because one of their parents is German. And it is perfectly ok for someone who has a German origin to play for Germany. But for Lincoln and Rafael, they have nothing much to do with a "German". Neither borned or raised here, they just wanted to play for us coz they have dfferent reasons that they cant play for their own countries. Thats a disgrace not only to German football but also the regulations of FIFA.

I don't really believe that. Back in March he agreed to play Angola. He only didn't because he needed a European passport to continue playing for Berlin.
