I can't understand how Lars Ricken is overlooked by Rudi and he always picks Gerald Asamoah ??

Even Asamoah came on in the world cup final!!Ricken was a tourist at the WM.

I can only recall one good game Asamoah as performed for Germany and that was in his first game against Slovakia in a testspiel where he scored.
Since then he has done nothing for Germany-I remember in Finalnd he should have had a t least two goals(in the same game Ricken helped Jancker score).Asamoah has not been as good for Schalke as he was in 2000/01.

Ricken on the other hand helped Dortmund win the European Cup in 1997 and last year he helped them win the Bundesliga.Now he is currently playing in the Champions League against the best in Europe was Asamoah struggles to retain his place for Schalke.

Ricken deserves a chance in the national team.

couldnt agree more.. there are many strikers with skill that Voeller seems to ignore for some reason.. ricken is one..

I think Asamoah and Jancker should be off the nationalmannshaft
should be great up and comers Auer, kuranyiand bobic is a proven talent and a few others..


dont know whats going on in germany.. probably the same thing as england when they selected henskey..
