Liverpool have been linked with an £8 million move for Khaka Khaladze of AC Milan. I know we were interested in him in the past so maybe there is a bit of truth in the story.

We are also on the trail of a 17year old Swiss kid dubbed the new Stephane Henchoz. Phillipe Serendos is his name and we've invited to come to Anfield in the new year. Bayern, Man U and Arsenal are all supposed to be interested.

And a load of my arse rumour is that we are after Fadiga of Auxerre and Senegal. No chance of that one. Don't need him.

dunno a lot Khaka Khaladze but seems good by what you're all saying, this 17-year-old looks quite good as well though.

Theres also rumours that your after Micheal Dawson for around £8million, but I don't think that Paul Hart will let him go before the end of the season.

Ah, still 6 - 7 weeks to go and the speculation rises like bile in the throat! The media can say what they like; clubs all over the country have been watching players all the time and the only time that we shall know who has bought who is when that particular player stands on the obligatory photocall holding a shirt with his name on it.

have scouts in football ever had a better chance of a job at a top class side

Thing is with journalists do they actually think before they print? Some of the names Liverpool were linked with in the summer was a joke - Malcolm Christie being the classic example.

Kaladze? He`s a joke, don`t buy him. He was substituted last Sunday at half time, cos all his opponents were passing by him easily. Seriously don`t get him.

Liverpool are a world class club hence they don't go after run of the mill nationwide players.

Only if we were playing in the Nationwide which we won't be. He isn't good enough.

A few more players have been linked with Liverpool recently. Dawson at Forest has been linked with an £8million move to us. I don't know much about him apart from the fact that he plays centre half. Rob the Red/Manic what's he like?

Lizarazu has been linked (again!). Too old. Can't see Houllier being interested.

Damien Duff has again been linked with a move to us next summer. It'd be a summer too late if you ask me.

No goers include Kleberson, Yakin and Stam.

Some players who are more than likely to be leaving include: Vegard Heggem, Igor Biscan, Patrik Berger, Pegguy Arphexad, Bernard Diomede and possibly one or two others such as Gregory Vignal.

http://www.soccernet.com/england/players/a.html

Read this link; tells you all about players in the English Leagues. I presume there are others but not interested enough :salute This is Prem; but there may be a nationwide one too.

A highly skillful striker, but also a character who is a law unto himself at times. - guess who this is the first line of which premiership player?

Answers on the back of a nine pound note please!

A brilliant player, tall and good with it he's only just turned 19 but he's looking very mature and confident. But remember he's only played 15 league games this season so he's still learning. Can pass from defence to the feet of the wingers with ease. Look in the Nationwide forum for what Hart thinks of him. Phil Thompson was at the game last Saturday along with Eddie Gray of Leeds, but Hart has said that he won't be sold.

Liverpool are reportedly lining up a summer move for highly-rated Dutch teenager Rafael van der Vaart.
The Ajax midfielder is likely to command a transfer fee of about £12m at the end of the season.

Several European clubs have been linked with the 19-year-old, who has scored five times in as many games to help Ajax to the top of the table in Holland.

Barcelona, Inter Milan, Juventus, Real Madrid and Roma are all believed to be considering bids for the attacking midfielder.

Van der Vaart was the outstanding player when England Under-21 played their Dutch counterparts at Pride Park last November, though he could not prevent England sealing a win that secured their European Championship finals place.

He won his first senior cap at the age of 17, to ensure he was ineligible to represent Spain, where his mother was born.

Van der Vaart has only just returned from injury after damaging knee ligaments during Holland's game against Belarus in September.

But he was back in international action this week, playing the second half of Holland's 3-1 win over Germany.
