He was given the chance last year at Gladbach and he scored in that game.Yet that was the only chance he got-now he is at Mainz and he cannot get a game.

Why is Germany's best young striker being treated like this ?

GOOD QUESTION, BUT UNFORTUNATELY I KNOW THE ANSWER..

benjamin Auer is an amazingly talented youngster with great pace and fantastic handling skills.. but he still needs developing and it seems the bundesliga teams want to take the easy way out and buy less talented but ready to play foriegners..

apparently Auer asked to go to mainz and signed a decent contract.. do you think they will get promoted? maybe he thinks mainz has a good future.. according to Bundesliga.de he has played 4 matches and has 1 goal (at last report) .. i hope he gets a regular starting position, because another micheal owen with better ball handling skills..

i will follow his situation carefully..
