We are short of talents in CB and DM. So it is either Metzelder or Kehl.

Lauth may also be a good choice as Podolski may need a more consistent and reliable partner. Obviosly, if Azauoagh, Bierofka and Trochowski are in the team, we can have a more skillful midfield. But now, we ave Deisler, Ballack, Schweini and Schneider and i think is pretty enough

No contest.......Metzelder, there see I'm the one who should be taking Paul Breitener's job.

Also I don't see Trochowski, Azaouagh or Bierofka getting in the team unfortunatley,

I would like to see them all feature but I can't see anybody displacing the current midfield except hopfully Torsten Frings.

Metzelder and Lauth in top form would be great.
Kehl had a great season but there's no place for him in the midfield.

Like Ch. Muller, i think he has the ability to replace Schneider at some point. Yeah, that Tom Geissler is good as well

where is kehl now? is he still the same highly regarded successor to 'der kaiser'?? no, he aint. But he recovered last season to show great performances, maybe Kehl will finally become a good player in a good team. What I like is the Dortmund connection. Kehl, Metzelder, Wörns, weidenfeller and Kringe look like to be the leaders of this team. They are a "group", dont knwo how to say in english. I like that Metze and Kehl look like to become leaders...

And yeah I would invite Kehl if I was Klinsi. If Kehl will continue his form he will definitely be called up. And if Metzelder joins the NT we would have another strong character group besides the Bavarians. Wörns, Metzelder and Kehl and that cant be bad.

With Kehl it's a question of attitude. He went from being my least favourite player at BVB to being one of my favourites because he took on a role that Germans always look for - being a leader on the field. The second half of last season he was the best BVB player and as good as anybody in the Bundesliga. When he is on form he is definitely the best defensive midfielder in Germany.
