What's your Poison?

Keeping with the Summer theme threads, what is your favorite drink/s Wine, Beer, spirts... and which brands specifically?

I enjoy all of these I mentioned, but here's my example

For wine I enjoy a red - dry or wet depending on when I'm drinking ie. with a meal or just on it's own. Also a good white Riesling works in a pinch.

For Beer for me It's gotta be German, I will drink other's but German beer is what I prefer. ie. Veltins, DAB, König, Holsten, Warsteiner... well you get the idea! :drinkbeer (Beer is my drink of choice)

For spirts I enjoy Rye (Crown Royal Limited) and Coke, shots of Jack or tequilla if I really want to get at 'er! Schnapps (peach or vanilla) and Vodka tonic's.

As a drink I preffer 7-uP & Coca Cola
I don't usually drink beer because I'm 13 but I preffer Heineken

Most I like is red wine but in summer I like better white wine because it is easier and it better stands warm summer :USA_Blue .

Beers, ah, I drink Ožujsko and Karlovačko (Croatian beer), Stella, Becks, Heiniken, Tuborg, Bavaria, Carlsberg, Old Czechien beer, Laško (Slovenian beer), Bud....... but I prefere most beer for Bremen :drinkbeer

Other drinks like coctails, whiskey, stock, vodka... yes I drink everything but wine and beer are on the podium if you ask me. Glass of red wine for health and no meater what kind of beer to get drunk :drinkbeer

I prefer white south-african wines...Drostdy-Hof and Two oceans are well worth mentioning. I you feel for something bubbly I recommend the spanish label Frexinet as they are equal to most champagne brands at a fraction of costs.

Beers...I mostly prefer lagers, I´m not that choosy...Carlsberg perhaps?

Spirits...Depends on the occasion, Renault noir is my favo cognac and perfect for a laidback moment but if we are talking serious drinking nothing beats Absolut Vodka.

well, i'm from bremen so what should i drink else then this tasty beer called BECK'S :drinkbeer
i prefer to drink vodka ( skyy or vikingfjord (this is really gourmet-stuff made of glacier-water from norway :bowing) plus some energy-stuff. what else ehm pernod+cola .. and the rest i can't remember.

Well from orders of Alberb, I must disscus this.
I used to enjoy drinking lager, mainly tennants(scottish lager), kronenberg too but after a few nights and too many of these mixed with some form of whiskey(the best of these can be found in the islands of scotland) I have gone off both. I don't think I have ever drunk german beer but I could be wrong.
As for wine I prefer white wine over red wine, chardonnay was what I was drinking last time and I quite enjoyed it in moderation obviously. Wine is not something I'd buy unless it's around a pound a bottle and I have little money.
The only stuff I regulary enjoy drinking is a drink named illusion, which I could only find in the co-op(a food shop) up here, wasn't sold anywhere else. I think this was made of anniseed and a lot of sugar with 40% alcohol, well enjoy it but no-one else does.
well that's my brief summary but I am no expert.


ps one thing about whiskey avoid macarthurs.

I dont drink much wine.....For hard liquer Gin(Bombay).

Beer: Molson (when out and about), Guiness, Tetley, KOFF & Karjala(when back in Finland)

Vodka: Finlandia lime, Svedka Raspberry and Coke

I drink Königs Pilsener, and all kinda Weizen... IMO Becks shows that its roots are in north germany near the ozean. Too much water and no taste and not spicy, like I like it.
I love French Absinth, Ouzo, Sambuca, Bacardi. Also Wodka here and there when I am with russian friends :drinkbeer
