Jetzt Aloisi und im nächsten Jahr dann Santa Cruz?
Berliner Kurier

STÜRMER Wichniarek bleibt vorerst bei Hertha

R. Miller

Sometimes I love Hertha's management and then I despise them. Aloisi? Please no. Just get us Santa Cruz. We need a striker of that calibre. From what it sounds like, we'll be getting Santa Cruz at some point anyways through a pre-contract, but it's up to Bayern to let him go a year early.

That was at the start of these rumours, but there have been a lot more news releases since then. It appears whatever Magath said isn't actually going to happen or wasn't taken seriously. Santa Cruz isn't dumb. He knows that Pizarro and Makaay will be ahead of him. Even Guererro (sp?).

I'm assuming that he's pressing from behind the scenes and there must be some continued communication between our two clubs.

Santa Cruz has been 'the next big thing' for a while now and hes never really convinced consistently.

If they can flog him for a few million then it would make sense.

Roque Santa Cruz and John Aloisi in the same breath?

I'd secure Santa Cruz before Aloisi, but I'm not drinking the Kool-Aid the management at Hertha are.

Bayern Munich boss Karl Heinz Rummenigge has said that neither Willy Sagnol nor Roque Santa Cruz will be leaving the club this summer.

Speaking in an interview with Bild, Rummenigge confirmed that he was not prepared to let Valencia target Sagnol leave the Allianz Arena.

"There has been an unofficial enquiry, but we will not be selling him for all the money in the world," he emphasised.

"Uli Hoeness phoned him from his holiday. We want to extend his contract with us," he added.

Meanwhile Roque Santa Cruz’s reported move to Bundesliga rivals Hertha Berlin looks likely to fall through after Bayern coach Felix Magath revealed he features in his plans for the coming season.

"We already have our squad for the coming season and it is just as Felix Magath wanted," explained Rummenigge. "We will neither be letting any more players go nor buying any more new ones."
