Many of you in the forum has mentioned Delura, Senesie and Jansen are the 3 best players in the U20. I have actually seen both match against Egypt and USA and i really think Delura is a bit overrated. We can't just rely on him up front. He did ok in the match VS Eygpt but to me, he is just an ordinary right winger, he only did what he needs to, nothing more. I may even prefer Aaron Hunt who can play several positions(AM, WG, FW, ST) to him. Is Delura really a "super-talent" as some of you expected?

What do you guys feel about Delura? What do you guys think his strengths and weaknesses are?

He's not a super-talent.

But nevertheless I think he is the most talented player of the U20 squad.

Of course that says a lot about the qualitiy of the team.

There is no super-talent in the team, Jansen, Adler, Delura, Schuon and Banecki have good chances to become good players in the Bundesliga but they are not super-talents.

Delura has a good technique and can cross very and is tall well, he loses to many balls though and gives up too easily imo.
Didn't see many games he played so I can't comment further.´I' afraid.

Here's a clip from Dutch television. Apparently they are analyzing his game.

He kind reminds me of Henry, speedy, good technique
he also reminds me of Ballck
He is only kind of lack of some leadership, think about Ballack, how was him at his 20?
so ,i am confident with Derula
a future leader

Why are you slamming Delura when Senesie is the one who is tremendously dissapointing? ;)

Delura is for sure no world-class talent but a great talent, who after a very difficult season cant get to 100% after a few U20 games. Comparing him to e.g. Kuranyi I would say Delura could become a better striker...

Kuranyi has much better finishing ability however......

I wonder what did Senesie do this season in Switzerland. He had regular football, but still can't perform as well as a Delura who hasn't even play a match with Schalke

I agree Delura won't shoot many goals imo. He's beeter used as an offensive midfielder or behind the strikers.

He did play 8 times in the Bundesliga for Schalke (didn't start a single game though).

He could be very useful as right winger cos he can use his crossing ability in that position ....

I hope he will continue playing for Germany, because one year ago, Delura said, that he thinks about playing for Poland, the home-country of his parents.
