I'm just disappointed. He lied to us, and now he's bashing the fans and our club. Pretty weak, but that's his decision. I'm just glad that his poker is over. Have fun with him, I think it's crazy to change clubs one year before the WC, but that's just me.

Looks like Schalke really want to give Bayern some competition next season.

It's not a good move-it is a disaster for German football..we will never never compete at European level when top teams sell their best players to bayern and now $$$chalke.

Schalke are a comedy club-good luck to Kuranyi. We support you when you go 12 games with no goal EVERY season and now you turn your back and go..well **** off and enjoy sitting on the bench when you go 12 games with no goal ..again

Footballers are all assholes-money greedy pigs and we are all worse for idolising them

Ballack is another pimp-keeping silence and his agent coming out saying "he might go" translating as "Bayern must offer more money to me and Ballack for him to stay"

Most footballers should be shot-they are killing the game

Well, if that´s the kind of szenementality you have in Stuttgart I´m not surprised that players want to leave.
It´s good money for chrissakes...both for him and for VfB.
12 games without a goal, so what?...That´s why you need several strikers, that way you can rotate them when someone is out of form.

Thats the diffence between Schalke and Stuttgart Fans.
Hanke left Schalke and we wished good luck.
Kevin is leaving Stuttgart and they do offend him.

We got a song "auf Schalke"

<sing>

Wir sind Schalker Wir sind Schalker
Keiner mag uns.Scheissegal.

Tausend Trainer schon verschlissen
Spieler kommen Spieler gehn

Doch wat stets bleibt sind wir Schalker,
die immer treu zur Mannschaft stehn.

und so fahrn wir mit der Mannschaft
in weite Welt hinaus
Nicht ganz nüchtern aber standhaft
singt man auswärts und zuhaus:

Wir sind Schalker Wir sind Schalker
Keiner mag uns.Scheissegal.

....

(and more text)

....
</sing>

Free translated:

We are Schalker We are Schalker
Noone like us we dont care.

1000 manager been dismissed
Players come players go

but what always remains
are we "the Schalker"
standing loyal to the team.

So we travel with the team
to the whole wide world.
Not sober but standing firm
we are singing abroad and at home:

We are Schalker We are Schalker
Noone like us we dont care.
....

Sorry for my bad English :cool

Welcome "auf Schalke" Kevin

Kuranyi says he joined us!

Kuranyi claims Schalke deal

http://skysports.planetfootball.com/images/playerpics04_05/football/germany/stuttgart/kuranyi_shoot.jpg

Stuttgart striker Kevin Kuranyi claims he has agreed a deal to join Schalke.

The Brazil-born Germany international revealed he has signed a five-year deal with big-spending Schalke.

It is believed that Kuranyi has decided to quit Stuttgart after they failed to secure a UEFA Champions League berth for next season.

Schalke have held a long-term interest in the 23-year-old and have admitted in the past they were looking for a top striker to bolster their ranks for next season and it appears they have their man in Kuranyi.

"I have signed a five-year contract with Schalke and am very happy about joining the club," Kuranyi told Bild.

"No one at Stuttgart can be angry with me. The club is getting more money from the transfer than it paid me in wages in all the years I was there. It's the biggest transfer in the club's history."

Kuranyi could be joined at Schalke by Chelsea misfit Mateja Kezman.

Kezman could be on his way out of Stamford Bridge after struggling to make an impact during his debut season with The Blues.

The former PSV Eindhoven striker has admitted he wants talks with Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho over his future with a number of clubs tracking his situation.

Sevilla and Marseille have been linked with Kezman and now Schalke are reported to be keen on signing him.

"We have been discussing Kezman's skills down at the club," said Schalke team manager Andreas Muller.

And if it's true that Kezman will come, I think we will have a very strong team next season!
:clap

Sorry i am not taking any lessons in how to be a fan from Schalke

Kuranyi and the team collapsed completely towards the end-like they always do when the pressure is on -they were hopeless and it's the fans fault ??

Kuranyi was terrible-13 goals hide the fact that he scored 3 goals in a game twice..Kuranyi only scored in 8 Bundesliga games..see how the wonderful Schalke fans would be when he plays **** or if your best players left for Bayern

Schalke are a comedy club-I wouldn't be surprised if you were in relegation next season and Ragnick fired

As for footballers-well its' true they are all assholes-the old professionals -loyal to a club-have been replaced with greedy pigs who never are punished when they are ****

I might aswell support Schalke now! Same thing.
Stuttgart gave Kuranyi a chance at a time in German football when no other club (certainly not $$chalke...bye bye Hanke) would play a young German like young Germans were **** on a shoe

Distant Voices: I can only agree with what you said on Kuranyi :drinkbeer: Don't be depressed we have Gentner and Gomez and maybe Alex Frei is coming, so no reason to cry after Kuranyi.

Though how he left is the pretty weak...it's the fans fault and no one cared about him in Stuttgart and no one told him everyday how much we love him...bahhh Did he sign a contract until 2008 or 2005? There's no reason for asking such stupid things like he did..."I don't know if Stuttgart plans with me"...blabla. I don't need such a baby!

No charakter, and not even thankful...he should shut up and I wish him fun sitting on the bench!

Welcome "auf Schalke" Kevin

As you see above even the Stuttgart Fans here dont prove me wrong.

Btw Hanke said he dont want to sit on the bench "auf Schalke"
and that he can play CL when he´s 25.

But to be a good Fan:

"Wolfsburg is comedy club I wouldnt be surprised... ":laugh
Does that sound better "Distant Brain"?

Do you know why we're bashing him??? Kevin knew from the beginning of the season that he'll go to Schalke! He LIED to us! He always said in interviews, that he had no contact with Schalke...AND NOW HE TOLD BILD, THAT HE HAD CONTACT WITH SCHALKE THE WHOLE SEASON! That's not a good move...NOT AT ALL! I hate him for being such an as$hole. Money confused his head a lot!

He isn't thankful for anything and now after he leaves Stuttgart, he talks bad about us and the management!
That guy has no mind! And bla, it's not even worth to talk about him :whip:

It's the way HOW he left, that sickens me! :Knob

But this ain´t getting you lot anywhere...players are whores, it´s the name of the game.

As a VfB fan I would ask myself some questions regarding in what direction VfB is going, wheter the club still is as ambitious as your board used to claim.
I´ve heard that some members of your board have been less than happy about the support VfB have enjoyed by it´s fans.

I mean, here we have Stuttgart pop 590.000
An the attendances this season are on the average 41.367 (down -4,4%) on a capacity of 49.471.

I´m not knocking your fans now, but board members are always looking at "marketability" and stuff like that.

Opa please please please

Kuranyi this season only went 7 games with no goal (13 games last season)and during both times the support given to him from VFb fans was brilliant. The support given to him and Hinkel last year when Assauer was pimping was again brilliant.

Stuttgart gave Kuranyi a chance to settle into German life and make a great career for himself. What good has Schalke done for German football-pander and erm ???

Crowds were down because part of the stadium was rebuilt and closed. But yes Swabia is not a football hotbed (hot air) like the Ruhr maybe because we all know how stupid the game has become and we put football in the place it deserves-alongside kunst and other interests.

i am not being offensive here but Stuttgart does not have the economic depressions of the Ruhr so we don't need to blindly follow a football team, dress like its the 1970s and get drunk.

For me Schalke is FC Hollywood of the North.Ragnick will be fired when Assauer has enough. You have huge debts.Ailton is a typical Schalke player.A whore.

If you think football is some kind of game you are certainly no Schalker.
To us it´s never been less than a way of life...:cool

"What good have ever Schalke done for German football"
You seriously ask a question like that..?

No, you are not in a economic depression like the Ruhr, but obviously the financially fortunate Stuttgart area can´t be bothered to give it´s major team more than a lukewarm support because there so many alternatives to watching your team eh?
How come I get this feeling that VfB are a desperate club?, desperate because if you don´t perform well many of your "non-fanatical, sober and definitely more cultural" fans might desert the club.

If your kid does badly at school I bet you throw him out, because he doesn´t "deserve" your love anymore eh?...:laugh

PS...Fupp me but I´m really enjoying a bit of banter between fans, sometimes it´s so cozy on this board!

PPS...I hope you lads enjoy it as well, otherwise we can call it a day?

Na na na...Schalker you haven't seen the last 6 games of Stuttgart in full lenght or have you?

They weren't fighting, played with no heart and no passion. That's what made us fans go crazy and yell at our team. We knew that they could have been on 2nd place easily, because Schalke lost, when Stuttgart lost. What would have happened if we won those games? That's the question we fans ask ourself.

The difference was when your team lost, they were still fighting til the end. Our showed no reaction. It was pretty depressing for us fans to see, how they gave their good chances away to reach 2nd place. It was possible.

The other bitter thing is, that we lost against teams like Bochum, Nürnberg, Freiburg...AND played AGAIN with no heart, passion...

We had a reason for being mad, and we showed that. I know that this is not the right way to support my team, but how else do you get them to wake up?

I don't buy an expensive stadiumcard to see them play like they just came out of bed. At least I want to see them fight. Thats not too much to ask for?!? Or is it?

Schwalker
Jun 14 2005, 12:31 AM
We had six games and one win before the last round. Our team beat Bayern and boozed for a week..consequently losing to Mainz next saturday.

As a fan that´s not what you want to see....But **** happens

Anger is a natural reaction...But as a fan I would be curious to why the team suddenly lost their will to fight.
Did something happen at that time?
