Chris Kirkland suffered an injury blow last night as he played just 24 minutes of England under-21s clash with Macedonia.
The Reds reserve keeper was forced to withdraw from the action with a back injury but it is not considered to be too serious.
Kirkland reported back to Melwood this morning and will be examined by the club's medical staff before any decision is taken on his availability for Saturday's trip to Leeds.
