I was brought up with United everything.......i was even wrapped in a Utd towel at birth :eek. The first game i saw was united, my dad is a HUGE!!! united fan......He brought me up to support the team I now love :sigh

Liverpool are a massive club and just because the scum are the richest it doesnt make a difference. utd have won fuck all compared to liverpool and i will remind you that u have only won one european cup during your glory years and that was a fucking fluke as well. never retained it so i dont know how u can call yourselves the best ever.

No, i'd call that luck. Its easy to say that its a plastic treble but you seem to be forgetting the two showpiece games that we won. We beat Munich, something you didnt do last year (and dont say they werent trying to win because they obviously were) and let me see, we beat you to in the charity shield. Five trophy's not three. Id not give me any of that "stop living in the past bulls**t". To say which teams were better we must look at teams throughout history. Liverpool in the 1970's & 1980's were simply the best teams to be seen in domestic football. They've won more than anyone and therefore thats how we should judge it. Thats what you mancs have been saying.

However i am glad to see at least one manc who actually lives within 25 miles of Old Trafford and could probably find it on a map unlike Veron.

I agree, we must take the Pool teams in 80´s to consideration.

They were awsome and won some European trophies as well.
What European trophies did they win actually (I´ve forgotten)?

I just want to make sure they are the best. If they won the "European Cup (aka CL)" back then - they must be considered in top 3.

the utd team of the 1990's was fantastic but the team of liverpool's of the 70's and 80's was better. they wouldny play each other no, but technically they were better, dominated europe unlike the mancs are now.
